The Frankenstein actor and his girlfriend have had an on-and-off again relationship for four years but just weeks after their latest rekindling, the romance is said to be ‘fully over’
Jacob Elordi and his girlfriend, Olivia Jade Giannulli, are said to have split up only weeks after getting back together. The couple have had an on-and-off again relationship for four years, but that is reportedly “fully over” now.
The Frankenstein star was first linked to Olivia Jade in 2021, but the relationship has stopped and started multiple times. The last break-up was reported to be in August of this year.
By September, rumours had been sparked that they had reconciled, as Olivia Jade supported Jacob at a premiere and a source told press they were “seeing each other again”. But just weeks later, they are rumoured to have broken up again, this time for good.

“It’s fully over,” a source close to Olivia Jade told People. “They are not getting back together. She’s fine about the Jacob split, she’s more upset about what is going on with her father.”
Olivia Jade, who is a YouTuber, is the daughter of fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli and Full House actress Lori Loughlin. After 28 years of marriage, they have split up. Lori’s representative told People that the couple are living separately but “there are no legal proceedings at this time”.
Lori and Mossimo were both sentenced to prison time five years ago after admitting to paying $500,000 to charity in bribes to get their daughters a spot at the University of Southern California. Lori was sentenced to two months and had to pay a fine of $150,000, while her husband was given a five month sentence and a fine of $250,000.
Jacob and Olivia were first linked together romantically in December 2021 and were said to be officially dating by May 2022. However, in August of that year, they were reported to have split, as an insider told Us Weekly that Jacob was “completely focused” on his career.
Despite this, they were spotted together on multiple other occasions, including on a trip together to Idaho in July 2023. They were rumoured to have broken up again in January of 2024, but were back together by October.
The latest split rumours started to swirl in April, when Olivia Jade went on a trip to Florida without Jacob and decided to relocate from the United States to Paris. They were thought to have broken up by August, rekindled in September and have broken up again now. In this time, Olivia Jade has also been romantically linked to Glen Powell.
Jacob, meanwhile, has been busy with his career. He is currently celebrating the imminent release of his new film Frankenstein, in which he plays the monster. It has been directed by Guillermo Del Toro and stars Oscar Isaac as the gothic doctor.
He is also set to continue to the gothic theme in February, which is when Wuthering Heights, directed by Emerald Fennel, will be released. Jacob stars as Heathcliff opposite Margot Robbie’s Cathy. Jacob and Emerald have worked together before on Saltburn.
