Marks and Spencer shoppers are thrilled to buy online after discovering that a selection goodie bag of Apothecary products is now half off. The Apothecary Heroes Gift Set, which used to cost £60, is now just £30 as shoppers prepare for Black Friday and Christmas.

Apothecary is Marks and Spencer’s special line of bath and body care products, with scents from the ‘Calm’, ‘Sleep’, ‘Restore’, and ‘Balance’ collections. Many people have been happy about the price drop of the Apothecary Heroes Gift Set in the reviews online, with some saying it would make a ‘great Christmas present’.

Included inside the tote bag are a total of seven full-size beauty items. The woven tote bag is reusable, with many appreciating that it can be handy for everyday use or beach holidays next year.

  1. Tote bag
  2. Revitalise body wash – 250ml
  3. Restore hand wash – 250ml
  4. Restore hand and body lotion – 250ml
  5. Warmth hand cream – 60ml
  6. Sleep Pillow mist – 150ml
  7. Calm scented candle
  8. Sleep diffuser – 30ml

A description of the £30 Apothecary Heroes Gift Set online reads: “The ultimate wellbeing curation. This Apothecary set brings together seven favourites for bath, body and home, each infused with a beautifully balanced blend of essential oils that are known for their soothing, calming qualities.

“A Revitalise body wash, Restore hand wash, Restore hand and body lotion and Warmth hand cream create a complete ritual for relaxation. You will also find a Sleep pillow mist, Sleep mini diffuser and a Calm candle to set a spa-like atmosphere. It’s all housed in a stylish woven tote bag.”

The body wash is made with petitgrain, lemon, mandarin and eucalyptus. The hand wash and body lotion features geranium, cedar wood, eucalyptus and lavender. Meanwhile, the hand cream includes cardamom, cinnamon leaf, cedar wood, and sandalwood.

If you are after a bath, body and beauty gift set, there are plenty of other options to browse through. Boots is selling Sanctuary Spa Complete Spa Escape Festive Gift Set for £26.50, down from £54. John Lewis has the Bramley Christmas Cottage Bodycare Gift Set for £25.60, down from £32, which comes in a house-shaped box. Amazon is offering the Baylis and Harding Midnight Cherry Luxury Pamper Present Gift Set for £6, down from £12.

The Marks and Spencer £30 Apothecary Heroes Gift Set has been receiving rave reviews, with an average score of five stars out of five. Up to 93% of shoppers say they would recommend the goodie bag.

In the reviews section, every review is five stars, except for two that are four stars – no other reviews go lower than four stars. In a glowing review, a shopper called Ewarty said: “Really good selection of beauty products that will appeal to all ages. Lovely packaging in a quality basket that can be reused very easily. Great price for quality items.”

Bubbles said: “Wow! What an incredibly good value this gorgeous set is! I really wasn’t expecting the basket to be so good, let alone the fabulous contents! So pleased I ordered 2, one for me and the other as a present! I love this range anyway, very calming and relaxing. Very pleased!”

In a four star review, Cherry said: “Good value but bag handles are flimsy. This is a lovely set of products and was very reasonable at the offer price. However, the bag handles are not very good quality and wouldn’t last long. They were also terribly misshapen after being pushed to the bottom of the package for presentation and delivery purposes. I would have been disappointed if I’d paid the full price.”

Inge said: “Great products I buy this set every year such great value and perfect little presents.” Gig wrote: “Very classy looking, good mixture of items and the bag is lovely. Even better that I got it with money off.” Someone else put: “Very large beach bag! The bag is much bigger than I thought (and looks in the picture) and is very good quality.”

Ems said: “I bought one of these for a Christmas present while on offer at half price and I was so impressed that I ended up buying 3 more!! Absolutely amazing value for what is included and would definitely recommend.” Another said: “This is a great gift. I bought one at full price as a present. When they were 50% off I bought more for Xmas gifts. Very happy with them.”

The £30 Apothecary Heroes Gift Set can be delivered for free if you spend £60 in total. So, you would need to buy an extra £30 worth of items to skip the delivery charges, which costs £3.99.
