A young girl tragically died after she was ‘taken unwell’ near a park and ride facility in the UK at around 8.40pm last night
A child has died after she was “taken unwell” near a UK park and ride facility, as police rushed to the tragic scene.
The incident happened at around 8.40pm on Saturday night on Skene Road, in Aberdeen, as emergency services rushed to the scene. Several ambulance crews attended the scene with one vehicle being “escorted” away from the scene by several police cars. The child was taken to the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital for treatment but she was tragically pronounced dead a short time later.
Police launched a probe into her death and cordoned off the area at Kingswells Park and Ride.
Officers said her death is currently being treated as “unexplained” but have confirmed there are no apparent suspicious circumstances, according to the Daily Record.
Locals were concerned last night after several emergency crews and vehicles quickly descended on the scene last night.
One eyewitness said: “[There has been an] incident at Kingswells Park and Ride. Multiple police vehicles in attendance. Police have taped off the park and ride. No access into or out of the park and ride. One ambulance has been escorted away with multiple police vehicles.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of concern for a child who had taken unwell on Skene Road in Aberdeen around 8.40pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
“She was taken to the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later. Her death is being treated as unexplained but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.”
