‘Absolute bargain’ £10 Boots collagen powder that shoppers say plumps skin and reduces lines

By staff30 September 2025No Comments5 Mins Read

Collagen supplements are super popular now, but they can be expensive – but shoppers are stocking up on this one while it’s reduced down to £10 for a limited time only

Collagen supplements are a big business nowadays, with plenty of shoppers swearing by them for not only health benefits but beauty ones too, as it’s said that they can help to boost collagen production and thereby result in plumper, smoother, healthier-looking skin.

Ingestible collagen comes in many forms, including powders, liquids and capsules, but they can be quite expensive – which is why we’re not surprised to see lots of Boots shoppers stocking up on this product today, while it’s on sale.

As part of today’s Boots £10 Tuesday deals, a 210g tub of Boots Marine Collagen Powder is reduced down from its usual price of £30 to £10 for one day only – and shoppers have reported impressive results from taking it.

This Boots collagen powder contains 5,000mg of marine collagen (widely regarded as being the most effective), has a tropical flavour and is designed to be mixed into water to make a tasty drink, which one of which should be taken every day (the tube contains 30 servings). Also containing vitamin C, it claims to ‘help support the firmness and elasticity of the skin’ – and Boots shoppers largely agree that it does work.

“Have notified a difference in my skin after 2 months! Love it,” one person commented on the website.

“It’s been 6 weeks since I started taking it and I’ve noticed a difference already,” another person wrote. “My skin is a little plumper, the fine lines I noticed have reduced and only appear when I’m very tired and my skin is better moisturised. I like the taste, although I will switch to flavourless when the summer is over because it’s like tropical squash. No fishy taste or smell.”

“I’ve tried a few different collagen supplements and this one is the least offensive and is actually relatively tasty. No trace of a fishy smell or taste,” a third agreed. “And the proof is in the pudding – 3 people have commented on my skin in the past 6 weeks and none knew I was taking this supplement so I’m giving it a big thumbs up! Thanks Boots – a reasonable price too for marine collagen (as opposed to bovine based alternatives)!”

Not everyone saw such quite results, however. One shopper wrote, “This was easy to mix up, but unfortunately, not so easy to drink as the flavour and smell is pretty off putting. I did continue to use the product and finish the tub despite this, but didn’t really notice any difference. I couldn’t see any improvement in my hair or skin, but as a positive I did ‘feel’ slightly brighter.”

It is recommended that you stick with taking collagen – as with any supplement – for at least three months before comparing results, though – and as today you can buy three months’ worth for the price of one month normally, it could be a good time to stock up.

These Boots £10 Tuesday deals often sell out quickly, however, so if this has gone by the time to come to shop, we’ve got plenty of other collagen recommendations. We also like Gold Collagen Pure, from £39 for 10, for single-shot drinks, Vida Glow Natural Marine Collagen, £39 for 30, for fruity flavours that mix easily into water, and Verve Naked Beauty Collagen, from £64, for a tasty powder that’s perfect for adding into smoothies. All of these options contain a higher quantity of collagen than the Boots one, too, so you may see quicker or more noticeable results.
