Advent calendar letting couples have ‘weekends to remember’ and it’s not chocolate

Lovehoney has dropped a range of new sex toy advent calendars for 2025, and they’re already proving to be a hit with couples looking to add a bit of spice to their December

Advent calendars are all the rage at the moment, with options ranging from chocolate to beauty, tea to skincare. However, for those seeking a bit of cheeky fun this December, Lovehoney has got shoppers covered.

The sexual wellness brand has unveiled not one, but five new advent calendars for 2025, catering to a variety of tastes and budgets. Prices start at £79 (the most affordable Lovehoney calendar yet) and rise to £299, offering savings of up to 70% on the total value.

For those looking to add a bit of spice without splashing out, the Enjoy Advent Calendar (£79, worth £205.76) is the most budget-friendly option. Inside the 24-day calendar, fans will discover a variety of toys, games and accessories – including a Womaniser Mini 2 worth £22.99 on its own (that’s nearly a third of the calendar’s value right there).

For those who can afford to spend a bit more but still want great value, the Romance Advent Calendar is a smart choice. Priced at £99 (worth £265), it’s a more affordable couples’ option that still delivers a seriously sizzling selection.

It includes a We-Vibe toy that sells for £119.99 on its own, making the calendar itself cheaper than buying the single toy. There’s also a remote-controlled love egg inside, perfect for playful nights together or a naughty solo session, reports Wales Online.

Lovehoney’s advent calendar range offers up to 70% in savings.

At the opposite end of the scale, there’s the Couples Day Advent Calendar (£149, worth £501.76). It’s crammed with premium toys like the Womaniser Classic 2 and the We-Vibe Sync Life, which together are worth £188.99, making this the most economical way to build up a collection of top-quality pleasure products.

Completing the selection are a luxury 24-day calendar for those who enjoy the finer things, and a 12-day version crafted specifically for female pleasure. They’re priced at £299 and £99, respectively.

Anyone eager to browse elsewhere might fancy Ann Summers’ 12 Nights of Temptation Advent Calendar (£200). It features 12 nights of surprises, featuring seven luxurious sex toys along with two oils and lotions.

Alternatively, Satisfyer’s Advent Calendar Deluxe is currently on offer for £121.99, down from £151.94. Alongside toys, this version features a seductive bodysuit with cut-outs and a floral pattern.

Returning to the Lovehoney versions, they’ve already garnered brilliant reviews from customers. This Couples Day Advent Calendar enthusiast said: “There is a great variety of toys on offer in this calendar, and all are good quality.

“My wife and I went for a weekend away and managed to test every item in the box. It was definitely a weekend to remember and will be using them for many nights away in the future.”

Meanwhile, one satisfied customer shared: “We had an awesome time opening all the individual boxes to see what was inside. Granted, some of the items I wouldn’t use just because I’m not into S&M play, but at least 90% of the box was great. I’ve been with my partner for 17 years, and this definitely spiced things up for us.”

However, it isn’t all rosy. One disappointed buyer of the Enjoy Advent Calendar said: “Some of the inclusions – such as the dice, matching card game, blindfold, and candle – while fun in concept, don’t quite measure up in value or excitement. These feel more like filler and might not be memorable beyond the initial unboxing.”

But another person chimed in: “I absolutely loved this calendar, you get so much for your money, and there is such a wide variety of toys. Really allows you to test something you might not feel confident to buy.”
