Aldi has done it again, launching a budget-friendly take on one of Marks & Spencer’s most-talked about festive snacks, and shoppers are already excited.

The supermarket has launched its own version of M&S’ viral Christmas snack tins, but at way over half the price. Costing £2.49 Aldi’s new Munch Mix bags are filled with a selection of salted pretzels, toffee popcorn, mini chocolate eggs and more.

In recent years, M&S snack mixes and tins, priced at £10 for the tin and £7 for the refill bags, have become cult favourites, with shoppers rushing to snap them up as soon as they hit the shelves.

Aldi’s new launch means shoppers can enjoy similar festive snacks for a fraction of the price. With the cost of living crisis still around, we’re definitely all feeling the pinch, and with the countdown to Christmas officially on, these purse-friendly snack mixes are set to be a big hit.

Aldi’s Munch Mix bags are only 175g compared to the 460g you can get with M&S’s Original Munch Refill Pack or Tin. However, Aldi still works out cheaper at £1.42 per 100g, while M&S bags are £1.52 per 100g.

Marks & Spencer has extended its range of snack tins this year, now launching a peanut butter and jelly version of The Original Munch Tin. This moreish tin contains fruit-flavoured jellies, salted pretzels, milk chocolate filled with peanut butter, and other goodies, and it is already proving to be popular among M&S fans.

If you are looking to get more for your money, Marks & Spencer has also brought back their 1.2kg Christmas chocolate tins that is being compared to Quality Street. The Big Mix Tin, which shoppers can still nab over on Ocado, is an assortment of colourful foil-covered chocolates, packed with toffees, caramels and creams.

Priced at £12, this huge tin is only £5 more than the standard 550g tub of Quality Streets.

Alternatively, Cabury’s is selling a mega box of 20 Dairy Milk Winter Edition 100g Christmas Bars for £37 down from £44. Perfect for bulk buying stocking fillers and gifts for friends and family.
