Aldi to introduce major change next week to help shoppers

By staff14 November 2025No Comments2 Mins Read

The changes are set to aid shoppers and give them “confidence”

12:31, 14 Nov 2025Updated 12:32, 14 Nov 2025

Aldi is making it easier for shoppers to make healthier food choices. In an announcement, the retailer confirmed it is soon set to launch its new ‘Live Healthy’ logo. From next week, the clear and simple emblem will appear across selected own-label products.

This includes fresh produce, soups and yoghurts in a bid to highlight items that support a healthy, balanced diet, as defined by the UK’s Eatwell Guide. Every product carrying the logo meets strict nutritional standards, giving shoppers added confidence when deciding what to put in their baskets.

The launch follows the Government’s announcement of its new 10-year health strategy, with Aldi committing to a number of actions to help shoppers make healthier choices. To track its progress, the UK’s fourth-largest supermarket has set a target for 85% of its sales to come from healthy products by 2027, as well as a 14% increase in the volume of fruit and veg sold by the end of 2027, ALDI UK confirmed.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “At Aldi, our mission has always been to make a variety of healthy food affordable for all. We know our customers want affordable, healthier options that fit into their everyday lives. The ‘Live Healthy’ logo is a simple, trustworthy signpost to help them do just that – without compromising on price or taste.”

Aldi already has a variety of initiatives in place to help promote a nutritious diet for its customers, including its Super 6 offers on fresh fruit and vegetables and its partnerships with Team GB and ParalympicsGB through the Get Set To Eat Fresh programme, which helps children aged 5–14 develop the skills to cook nutritious, affordable meals.

The good news comes as the retailer announced it is set to open 16 new stores by December 12. You can see the full list below.
