Aldi’s new £1.79 ‘immune support’ drink helps reduce tiredness and fatigue

Adding Aldi’s latest product to your diet could benefit your gut health and energy levels

Aldi shoppers can reduce their tiredness and support their gut health thanks to health-enhancing beverage that’s now on shelves. The budget supermarket is now selling a “nutritional” juice drink, which contains vitamins and calcium.

The retailer has launched The Juice Company Functional Juice Drink range, priced at £1.79. It is available in three flavours: dragon fruit and raspberry, apple and elderflower, and pineapple and lime.

The nutritional drink is packed with vitamins to support immunity, reduce tiredness and fatigue and provide calcium to promote gut health — making it ideal for shoppers as the colder weather begins.

According to Aldi, The Juice Company Dragon Fruit & Raspberry Juice Drink is infused with added calcium to support a normal digestive function. It is crafted with a vibrant blend of dragon fruit, raspberry and apple.

Healthline reports that dragon fruit contains prebiotics, meaning it may help improve the balance of good bacteria in your gut. Prebiotics are a specific type of fibre that promotes the growth of healthy bacteria in your gut.

Regular consumption of prebiotics may help reduce the risk of digestive tract infections and diarrhoea. Prebiotics promote the growth of good bacteria, which researchers believe may outcompete the bad.

The Juice Company Apple & Elderflower Functional Juice Drink contains 100% of your recommended daily Vitamin C in every glass. It is also packed with immune supporting B6 and B12 plus vitamin B3 to help reduce tiredness and fatigue.

Healthline said: “B vitamins play a vital role in maintaining good health and well-being. As the building blocks of a healthy body, B vitamins may have a direct impact on your energy levels, brain function, and cell metabolism.”

Vitamin B complex may help prevent infections and help support or promote: cell health, energy levels, digestion, appetite, hormones and cholesterol production and more.

The Juice Company Pineapple & Lime Functional Juice Drink boasts multiple vitamins to support the immune system and reduce tiredness and fatigue. According the Healthline, pineapples contain various vitamins, minerals, and enzymes, such as bromelain, that may collectively improve immunity and reduce inflammation.
