Amazon has launched a flash sale on its entire Fire TV Stick range, offering tempting discounts on all models from the standard HD to 4K Max. The most significant price cuts are on the Fire TV Stick 4K and 4K Max, which are both reduced by £20.
The 4K Max, touted as Amazon’s ‘most powerful’ streaming stick, is now available for £49.99, down from £69.99, marking its cheapest price this year, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel. This model offers access to countless films and series on streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and Apple TV+, allowing users to stream with ‘lifelike’ picture and sound in 4K Ultra HD.
The gadget also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and immersive Dolby Atmos audio and offers access to millions of songs on music streaming platforms like Amazon Music and Spotify, as well as gaming with Amazon Luna. The 4K Max also boasts 16GB of storage – twice the amount of other models – providing twice as much space for apps, games and software updates, reports Wales Online.

“The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is also impressively responsive. Navigating through menus and apps is quick and smooth thanks to its powerful processor. Overall, the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is a must-have for anyone looking to elevate their home entertainment setup. Its superior performance, coupled with Wi-Fi 6E support, makes it an excellent investment for the best streaming experience.”
Another said: “Great streaming stick with superb picture quality. This is great as it also does 4K, and the picture and sound are great. It’s very compact, so it will fit most HDMI inputs on your TV. Very fast when it comes to operating the device and selecting apps is smooth and trouble-free. Very happy with this purchase and even thinking about buying another one. Even though they aren’t the cheapest streaming stick on the market, they are well worth the money.”
While the Fire TV Stick 4K Max has earned positive feedback, an unsatisfied user noted that the remote control seemed ‘a bit flimsy’, writing: “Brilliant Fire Stick. This was easy to set up, quickly ready to go and has been a dream. It is responsive, there’s no lag time, the quality of the pictures are brilliant. Only (small) issue was that the remote is a bit flimsy and not particularly well made.”
Meanwhile, budget-conscious shoppers can now snatch the Fire TV Stick HD for £29.99, enjoying a cool 25% off the regular price of £39.99. Both the 4K Max and its HD counterpart boast a straightforward setup involving plugging into an HDMI port on your telly, with the HD version boasting 1080p resolution, 8GB storage and full integration with Alexa.
