The Rolosar Wireless Earbuds are on offer with a mega £110 discount on Amazon as part of a limited-time tech deal
Gym buffs know all too well the importance of a perfect playlist to sail through an intense workout session. It’s what helps them drown out the rattle of gym equipment and push towards that all-important personal best.
While Apple’s AirPods are a familiar sight in the gym, bargain hunters on Amazon have discovered an alternative that’s causing quite a stir for being ‘better’ than the tech giant’s offering. The Rolosar Wireless Earbuds – usually priced at £129.99 – are now available to buy with a mega 85% discount at £19.99, thanks to a limited-time tech deal.
This steep £110 price drop has seen countless customers snapping up the deal, with rave reviews flooding in on Amazon. With a 4.4-star rating from more than 2,300 reviews, it seems shoppers are utterly wowed by the bang for buck these earpieces present, reports the Manchester Evening News.

A standout feature elevating these buds above the AirPods is their secure silicon loop, which ensures they stay put during the most strenuous workouts, addressing a common complaint of the AirPods. One happy customer said: “I used to use AirPods but couldn’t use them for while exercising as they would constantly fall out of my ears. These headphones are much more secure so are perfect for listening to music when in the gym.”
Rolosar’s earphones also boast four levels of noise cancellation, ideal for drowning out distractions while you work out. Although Apple’s premium earbuds offer the same perk, they come at a much steeper price.
Another big draw for the Rolosar earbuds is their IP7 waterproof rating, which means they can be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes. While this doesn’t make them suitable for swimming, it does mean they can withstand sweat from intense workouts.
In contrast, Apple’s AirPods have an IP54 rating, so they’re resistant to sweat and dust but not submersible. The AirPod Pro 2s don’t have any waterproof rating at all, although I’ve had no issues with my AirPod Pros since I started using them for running in 2020.
Sound-wise, the Rolosar earbuds have racked up some rave reviews, with one buyer saying the audio quality is ‘definitely better than AirPods’. Another said they were ‘closest to the Pro AirPods in sound’ after testing several other earphones on the market.
However, it’s not all smooth sailing, as some customers have been disappointed with the size of the buds and their charging case, which are larger than some of the more premium rivals. One shopper said: “For fitting over the ears they are bulky I felt uncomfortable with them.”
Another user agreed the fit might not suit everyone, describing them as ‘uncomfortable to wear for longer than one hour’. If you’re an Apple aficionado, the closest rival to these earphones are the AirPod Pro 2s, which you can get for £7 when spreading the cost with Sky Mobile.
Alternatively, soundcore is another well-known brand offering its own version of wireless earbuds. These usually retail for £47.99, but can be snagged from Amazon for £31.99 using a few available promotional discounts.
