Controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have left Romania after previously being held on several charges, with their plane said to be heading for the USA

Andrew Tate and his brother are said to have left Romania, after previously being held on charges including rape, trafficking and money laundering.

Self-proclaimed ‘misogynist’ Tate, along with brother Tristan, had been facing more than 10 years in jail if found guilty and both had strongly denied the charges against them. The pair had been arrested three years ago.

It had previously been reported the pair, who have duel UK/US nationalities, had been banned from leaving Romania – which now seems to have been lifted. Earlier this week it was reported Donald Trump’s administration had leant on the nation to relax the restrictions, and now the brothers are said to be on their way to the USA.
