Ant and Dec have announced that they are the new co-owners of a frozen food company – and to mark the occasion, they stripped down to their underwear
Much-loved hosts Ant and Dec stripped down to their boxers to announce a ‘very exciting’ new venture to their fans.
The Britain’s Got Talent presenters, also known as Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, are currently taking a break from the small screen. Having concluded the 18th series of the talent show, won by magician Harry Moulding, the pair won’t be gracing our screens again until I’m A Celeb returns in the winter.
While most would take this downtime to unwind and steer clear of work, Ant and Dec unveiled their latest business endeavour on Friday (July 18). Keen to back a small enterprise from the North of England, the Newcastle lads have shared the exciting news.

The duo are set to become co-owners of frozen food company The Northern Dough Co. Approaching the firm to propose a partnership with founders Amy and Chris Cheadle, Ant and Dec are stepping into the competitive world of food, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The Northern Dough Co provides a variety of top-quality, frozen bakery items such as pizza dough and brioche dough, and is already available in major supermarkets across the UK.
Never ones to shy away from surprising the nation, the Geordie duo filmed a cheeky video in their boxer shorts to demonstrate how The Northern Dough Co offers restaurant-standard food at reasonable prices.
The video was designed to illustrate that you can whip up meals from the comfort of your own home, without the need to dress up. Speaking about the announcement, Ant revealed: “I love making pizzas at home with my family and was already using Northern Dough Co when we started conversations with Amy and Chris about working with them.
“As soon as we met it was clear we had the same values and together we have some great ideas on how we can expand the business. It’s very exciting and we can’t wait to get started in our role as co-owners!”
Dec chimed in: “We love The Northern Dough Co ethos of celebrating the joy of eating at home and bringing people together. Whether it’s a pizza party with mates or a Saturday night in front of the telly with your granny, everyone can get stuck in and make delicious pizzas. We are excited to celebrate all things dough through our partnership and social content.”
Opening up about how the collaboration came about, Amy and Chris confessed ‘it’s not every day Ant and Dec’s team drop you a line to ask if you’d be interested in exploring working together’.
“From the very first meeting it was clear just how well their personal values aligned with ours, and how easy it would be to partner and grow our business together,” they revealed.
