The best-selling face cream hydrates and nourishes dull, sallow complexions
When you think of ESPA, spa breaks spring to mind, but the brand offers more than just massage oils and hydrating shower gels. Its anti-ageing skincare line, Tri-Active, is incredibly popular with online shoppers and has glowing customer reviews, especially the Lift & Firm Moisturiser (£50).
The nourishing face cream is made using a combination of plant and marine extracts, including Anise Fruit, Sea Larch, Sea Amber, Wild Olive Cellular Oil, Organic Oat Sugars, Petitgrain, Bergamot, and Lavender. Anise Fruit helps to tone and firm the skin, while Sea Larch creates a protective, firming, hydrating barrier on the skin.

“A little bit goes a long way, left my skin so soft and moisturised. I am 74, and this will be my go-to cream from now on. Even after a night’s sleep, I woke with my skin still feeling soft.”
They added: “It has a silky feeling, it is like being wrapped in silk. I could go on, suffice it to say it’s wonderful. I will try the serum later on.”
A second wasn’t as pleased, writing: “This product doesn’t absorb well. When used under make up it ‘peels’ creating little clumps. It also leaves the face shiny and accentuates the pores.”

A third added: “Being 50+ in menopause, my skin is very sensitive and confused, but this cream works wonders. No breakouts, skin is hydrated, glowing and radiant.
“Skin appears firmer and generally healthy. I have paid substantially more for other well-known brands, but nothing has made my skin look so good than this moisturiser (ESPA, please don’t change this product).”
