“Get ready to meet the newest member of the family,” Cook said in a post on X (formerly Twitter ). The message also includes an animated Apple logo.
So what could be coming next week?
There’s no official confirmation, but it seems almost certain that Apple will reveal a new iPhone SE at the showcase.
This update has been rumoured for months and it seems Apple is finally ready to unleash it on the world.
For those not in the know, the iPhone SE has long offered a cheaper way to own an Apple smartphone with prices starting from under £500. However, things have started to look pretty dated in recent years, with the current version still featuring a old Touch ID fingerprint scanner and big bezels around the screen.
If the whispers are correct, the 2025 device will look more like the latest flagship range and get an all-screen design, Face ID unlocking and an improved camera.
It’s even though a speedy A18 processor will be tucked under the shell. That chip will mean it can access Apple Intelligence so users will smart features such as auto image editing, help writing emails and a more advanced Siri assistant.
If you fancy a new iPhone on a budget then it could be an exciting few days ahead.
