Apple’s newest 2025 iPad Air is now available to buy in the UK. Our tech shopping team has picked out the best deals from Amazon and Samsung
Yet again, it’s been another event for Apple with the launch of its sparkling new iPad Air M3, and new MacBook Air M4. In what feels like seconds since the iOS tech giant unveiled its budget-friendly iPhone 16e, the upgraded iPad is now available to buy – we’ve rounded up the deals to see which ones are worth looking at.
The Apple store may be the first go-to for many, but Amazon and Sky Mobile have both launched offers that are ideal for consumers, but for different reasons. As Sky launches a more affordable way to pay with its pennies-per-day plans and Amazon’s upfront cost has a speedy delivery.
The 11-inch iPad Air M4 starts at £599 over at the Apple store, or £799 for the bigger 13-inch device but there’s a way to drop the price to cheaper per-month payments. Sky Mobile takes the new model off pre-orders and adds it to a new plan.

The cost is broken down to pennies per day for consumers, 56p per day if shoppers pick the 11-inch model at £17 per month or 70p per day for the bigger 13-inch tablet at £21 per month. It will cost more in the long run, but in keeping with pay-as-you-go tech plans, it allows budget-conscious shoppers to split the cost.
As it currently stands Sky is one to look at for monthly plans, especially as it has cut its one-off upfront fees to £0. It is, however, worth noting that for the much cheaper price split, customers have to commit to long plans. On each 2025 iPad Air plan customers will be tied into a 48-month contract, although you can swap it after 36 months.
Which is where Amazon comes in. The Prime retailer’s prices match Apple and Argos, starting at £599 for the 11-inch device or £799 for the 13-inch device, but it’s the delivery time that caught our eye. As with any new tech launch, it can be usual to see week-long waits. Amazon’s site says that the iPad will be ‘shipped within 1-2 days’.
The new iPad model has been reviewed by the tech team, as Editor Dave Snelling pulls out the pros and cons of the device at The Express. As he said: “That upgraded M3 chip inside makes photo and video editing a breeze, and it’s great for gaming, as well as all the usual daily digital tasks such as sending emails and browsing the web. Budding artists will clearly love that upgrade, and it really does make the Air a truly versatile device that transforms from pad and paper into a content hub or place to work.”
As Dave highlighted, there are some things shoppers will want to consider before they buy. He said: “There are no new colours, no design tweaks, and Apple hasn’t addressed some of my criticisms of the previous Air. These include the device not switching to better, smoother 120Hz display technology for more speedy scrolling, not slimming down the bezels, not adding Face ID screen unlocking.”
