The winners of The Traitors series three were finally revealed during last night’s exhilarating episode, which saw Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown split the prize fund – but were you happy with the result?
After three explosive weeks of cold-blooded murder and brutal banishments at the round table, the winners of The Traitors were finally crowned in last night’s episode – and we want to hear your thoughts on the result.
The tense episode saw Faithfuls Leanne Quigley, Alexander Dragonetti, Francesca Rowan-Plowden, and Jake Brown banish final Traitor Charlotte Berman after a heated clash. In a new twist, the business director didn’t reveal her status as she left the castle, meaning the finalists had to rely on their instincts about whether or not there were any Traitors left in the game.
The final four then joined Claudia Winkleman outside for the nail-biting End Game, where they chose either to ‘End the game’ or ‘Banish again’ if they believe Traitors remain in the competition. All four opted to banish again, which saw Alexander sent packing after receiving the most votes, followed by Francesca in a shock turn of events.
Ex-soldier Leanne and project manager Jake were then crowned the series three champions and split the whopping £94,600 prize fund after revealing they were both Faithfuls. A delighted Leanne thanked Jake “for not letting me down,” while he responded with: “I feel like my body feels like it’s going to collapse but I’m just so happy.”
Fans rushed to X to share their thoughts on the exhilarating finale, with many left fuming that Francesca was banished at the last hurdle. One person ranted: “Leanne banishing Frankie after she basically begged her through held back tears and told her mother-to-mother that she could trust her was more treacherous than anything the Traitors did all series.”
Another echoed: “Frankie gave you a traitor on a plate and you all betrayed her,” while a third expressed: “Absolutely devastated for Frankie.”
Others suggested that Alexander and Francesca should have won, as another person penned: “Genuinely the most dissatisfying result of all the Traitor series’. It should have been Alexander and Frankie. Both of them were decent and honest and seemed genuinely kind.”
“Alexander is the only Faithful that deserves the win but I do love how Charlotte has thrown herself into that traitor role,” voiced a second viewer. Meanwhile, some fans were pleased with the finale, as one watcher wrote: “The Traitors is great TV.
“Absolute end of the seat stuff and would never have called how that ended! Class.” Another gushed: “Great final episode of The Traitors. The changes they made worked out really well. Tremendous show, best thing on TV.”
