If you need a new TV for a spare room or just want something cheap and cheerful for your home then Argos might be worth a visit. The UK retailer has just announced a major Big Red sale event, which is taking place from now and over the Easter holidays. There are loads of big savings to be made, but one stand-out deal is offering a full smart Toshiba telly for just £99. Yes, it really is that cheap.

This screen is even fully Freeview ready which means it’s easy to tune into loads of channels and not face any monthly subscription fees. Those wanting some more premium action will also find apps such as Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video installed straight out of the box.

So, what else do you get for that low £99 price? This is not a telly for those wanting pin-sharp 4K visuals but it does offer a 24-inch HD panel with HDR10 technolgy and there’s Dolby Audio for clear surround sound.

It also has Micro dimming technology which improves the contrast by dimming individual sections of the TV screen. It has built in Wi-Fi, two HDMI ports and even full voice controls via Google and Alexa.

Sound enticing? You can see the Toshiba deal here.

That Toshiba telly is a good deal, but it isn’t the only offer available from Argos. The store is also offering discounts on screens made by Samsung and LG as well. All you need to know is the Easter RED code to get money off.

For example, tap the word RED10 in at the checkout, and you’ll get 10 percent off Samsung’s 40-inch Smart TV. Pump in the code RED20 and the price of LG’s 32-inch smart TV will drop by 20 percent.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE ARGOS TV DEALS

LG 32-inch LED Smart TVPRICE: £179.99DEAL: Get 20% off with RED20 codeSEE THE OFFER HERE

Samsung 40-inch Smart TVPRICE: £199.99DEAL: Get 10% off with RED10 codeSEE THE OFFER HERE

Samsung 55-inch LED Smart TVPRICE: £329.99 (lowest ever Argos price)DEAL: Get 10% off with RED10 codeSEE THE OFFER HERE

Along with these epic deals from Argos, it’s also worth checking out Samsung’s website as well. The Korean firm has a sale on right now, with 20% off a whole of its TVs using the code EASTERTV.

These are its 2024 models which will soon be superseded by the new 2025 range but these are still decent discounts.
