Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has endured a difficult start to the season after suffering multiple injuries, with the latest coming in the home game with West Ham
Martin Odegaard limped off for the THIRD time this season after suffering a knee injury vs West Ham. The Arsenal captain has suffered with multiple issues in the opening months of the new campaign.
And after appearing to clash knees during the first half of the game with West Ham, after trying to play on, he was forced to come off.
That continues a frustrating period that has seen the Norwegian pick up a string of issues in the middle of matches. Against Leeds in August, he came off with a shoulder injury which saw him miss one game.
The problem then returned in the home win over Nottingham Forest in September, where he lasted just 18 minutes before being subbed off.
Against the Hammers, he attempted to continue after receiving treatment to his knee. But was forced to admit defeat and was replaced by Martin Zubimendi.
The Gunners were handed an injury boost before kick off, with Gabriel Magalhaes passing a late fitness test to start the game. Piero Hincapie, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and Noni Madueke all missed the game however.
