Arsenal could soon see their confirmed transfer increase from six signings to nine as the Gunners progress with moves for Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres and agree another deal
Arsenal have already completed three transfers this summer and look set to quickly build upon that in the coming days. Sporting director Andrea Berta has been hard at work in his first window in charge in north London.
The Gunners first signed Kepa Arrizabalaga in a £5million deal before making a landmark signing by adding Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. Christian Norgaard then followed from Brentford as Mikel Arteta’s squad takes shape ahead of the new season.
But the work is not yet complete. Arsenal agreed another deal with Chelsea and are now preparing to confirm the signing of Noni Madueke.
And the Premier League runners-up finally look to be on the verge of landing a strike for Arteta to work with. Viktor Gyokeres’ move from Sporting CP looks set to take place in the coming days after a breakthrough.
Mirror Football takes a look at the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Emirates.

Madueke unveiling
Noni Madueke will be announced as an Arsenal player on Tuesday. Reports claim that the ex-PSV winger has completed his medical and the paperwork has been signed after the England international flew back from the Club World Cup to seal a deal.
The Gunners are set to pay £52m to Chelsea for his signature as their forward line is firmly reinforced. Madueke joins on a five-year deal.
Gyokeres agents in London
Progress continues over Viktor Gyokeres’ move to Arsenal after the Gunners agreed terms with Sporting on Sunday evening. The breakthrough is said to have occurred after the Swede’s agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, waived part of his fee so the north London team would meet demands of £55m up front with a further £8.6m in guaranteed add-ons, ensuring a deal worth £63.6m.
Now Cetinkaya is claimed to be in London to seal the final details of the move to Arsenal. Once they are resolved, Gyokeres will be permitted to make the same trip to undergo his medical.
Another deal agreed
The transfers just don’t stop. Arsenal are now reported to have made a breakthrough in negotiations for Valencia defender Christian Mosquera. A verbal agreement is reported to have been made over a package worth €15m (£13m) plus add-ons.
Mosquera’s only intention was to join Arsenal and is noted to have a long-term deal in place at the Emirates. The Gunners eyed the La Liga star across the summer but saw complications over agreeing a fee but that now appears to have been resolved.
The player could be confirmed as Arsenal’s newest signing later this week.
