As the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel continues, believers in the psychic realm have picked up on chilling prediction for 2025 made by famed mystic Baba Vanga, many years ago
Famed mystic Baba Vanga died in 1996, but there are many who believe her predictions are still unfolding to this day. And one chilling premonition has left her followers concerned.
The blind Bulgarian psychic spent the majority of her 85 years living in the mountainous village of Rupite, far away from the seats of global power. But it’s said that her alleged abilities to foretell the future allowed her to see significant events, many years before they came to pass.
Now, as tensions continue between Iran and Israel, those who’ve tracked Vanga’s work over the years have picked up on an unsettling prediction the Balkan soothsayer had for the year 2025.

The so-called “Nostradamus of the Balkans” predicted “a great war between the West and the East”, which would have catastrophic consequences. She claimed: “As soon as Syria falls, expect a great war between the West and the East. In the spring, a war in the East will begin, and there will be a Third World War. A war in the East that will destroy the West.”
Other 2025 predictions from Vanga included humans making contact with aliens, and the development of telepathy, in a way that will revolutionise communication as we know it.
Vanga has seemingly hit the nail on the head when it comes to events that have actually come to pass. In one prescient prediction, Vanga predicted that the 44th President of the United States would be a Black man, long before former law school professor Barack Obama made his White House bid. There are even those who believe she predicted the devastating events of 9/11, way back in 1989.
The soothsayer reportedly declared: “Horror! Horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.”
The “steel birds” here are believed to refer to the planes that were deliberately flown into the World Trade Centre, resulting in its collapse, or “fall”. The reference to “bush” can also be viewed as a nod to President George W. Bush, whose subsequent ‘war on terror’ had far-reaching global consequences.
She also allegedly predicted Brexit, the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami, and the tragic death of Princess Diana. However, these premonitions should, of course, be taken with a pinch of salt. Vanga never actually wrote any of her prophecies down, meaning we have to rely on accounts with those who spoke with the long-dead psychic, who can no longer verify such quotes one way or the other.
Furthermore, some of Vanga’s predictions have failed to manifest, meaning World War III isn’t necessarily guaranteed. Indeed, Vanga previously foretold that WWIII would break out between the years 2010 and 2014, but this thankfully never came to pass.
Other inaccurate premonitions include aliens landing on Earth in 2023 and declaring war, and a disastrous nuclear plant explosion that would poison the entirety of Asia. Thankfully, she isn’t always right.
