Bear Grylls’ no-plumber water filter that leaves it tasting ‘fantastic’

UK households are snapping up a new under sink water filter from a company co-owned by Bear Grylls, which is said to save people over £100 a year compared to buying bottled water. The Water2 Pod 2.0 Starter Kit, usually priced at £129 with £99 annual replacements, now has an exclusive £20 discount using the code ‘READER’, bringing the price down to £109.

The kit is being hailed as an easy, affordable solution to enhance tap water quality whilst reducing plastic waste. It’s designed to filter up to 99.99% of microplastics and bacteria and over 95% of chlorine, eliminating the ‘horrid taste’ and lingering odours some people experience from standard tap water.

Already in use by more than 150,000 UK homes, this compact system fits neatly under sinks, connects directly to existing taps and provides clean, great tasting water on demand. The Water2 Pod 2.0, founded in 2020 by entrepreneur Charles Robinson and co-owned by Bear Grylls, stands out for its advanced multi stage filtration technology, which tackles more than just chlorine and odours.

The Water2 Pod 2.0, which was founded in 2020 by entrepreneur Charles Robinson, stands out for its advanced multi stage filtration technology, which tackles more than just chlorine and odours.

The filter capsules only need replacing once a year and the system comes with a 100-day money-back trial and a five-year warranty for added peace of mind. According to the brand, a typical household spending around £20 per month on bottled water could save over £140 a year by switching to Water2, while also eliminating single-use plastics.

With a growing reputation and thousands of positive reviews, Water2 continues to build trust among consumers who want to make a small change that has a big impact on their wallets, health and the planet.
