Beats earbuds usually £220 are on offer with £90 off – but not for long

They’re perfect for working out and currently have 41% off the original price

Throughout my career as a tech reviewer, I’ve put countless wireless earbuds through their paces, and while many prove genuinely outstanding, the reality is that top-tier Bluetooth buds come with eye-watering price tags. That’s precisely why Amazon’s current offer on the Beats Fit Pro grabbed my attention.

There’s a “limited time deal” on the black, grey and white variants of these superb earbuds that slashes the cost by 41 per cent from £219.99 down to £129. This represents a far more sensible price point for the Beats Fit Pro, which I’ve put through comprehensive testing and found to be thoroughly impressive.

Beats, owned by Apple, produces various wireless earbud models, with these being among their fitness and workout-focused offerings, as the Fit Pro branding indicates, reports the Express. They feature fixed wing tips that nestle within your ear’s natural contours for enhanced stability.

If shoppers are looking to spend less, the Beats Solo Buds are a bargain on sale at £59, but they lack any sort of noise cancellation and need to be plugged into a charging cable to recharge. At the time of writing, Apple’s noise cancelling AirPods Pro 2 are on sale at Argos for £189. They have better audio overall than the Beats and give more advanced hearing aid features, as well.

Beats Fit Pro users can swap the in-ear tips for alternative sizes included in the package to achieve optimal comfort and create the ideal seal for superior audio quality. I’m particularly fond of the Beats Fit Pro for this straightforward yet clever construction, ensuring they remain firmly in place, and for their remarkable similarity to the AirPods Pro.

The noise-cancelling and transparency functions match Apple’s iconic white buds in terms of performance, yet the Fit Pro excel during physical activity due to their steadfast grip. The buds also support Apple’s Spatial Audio mode with dynamic head tracking in films and games, though this isn’t a feature I utilise.

My main concern is the audio quality for blasting my tunes when working out or just relaxing, and the Beats deliver on this with punchy, more bass-driven sound than AirPods, making them a good choice for the gym or trail.

Customers can enjoy six hours of playback off a single charge, with up to 24 hours with the fully charged case, which I must mention is not the smallest on the market. What’s better is the quick pairing with Android phones, which means these aren’t just a top pick for iPhone owners (though you won’t get Spatial Audio support on Android).

The Beats Fit Pro originally launched in 2021, so at this point they are nearly four years old. I still reckon they are a good choice, but not at the usual price. £129 is a much better price, and one at which I can still recommend these earbuds.
