The new Mighty Fine Brow Pen delivers hair-like strokes to create fuller brows and shoppers say it helped cut down their everyday routine
Benefit, a beauty brand that is known for its brow bar, has launched a new brow pen that’s perfect for makeup beginners. The Mighty Fine Brow Pen is a superfine brow pen with three 0.1mm-thin brush tips – and it comes in eight different shades.
While it’s originally priced at £26, Boots is currently offering 20% off the new product, bringing down the price to £20.80. Meanwhile, LookFantastic and Sephora are selling it at full price.
The pen instantly fills in brows and mimics the look of natural hair for a full, defined look. Claiming to last for hours, the formula is said to be sweat-proof, smudge-proof, transfer-proof and waterproof – simply apply it to clean, dry brows to create the perfect arch.

With a triple-tip design, beauty fans the Benefit product is a “time saver”, helping cut down the time spent on the brow routine. 99% of anticipated testers said the Mighty Fine Brow Pen “easily fills in sparse areas” and 98% realised their brows “look more defined”.
A satisfied customer commented: “When you think of eyebrow pencils, I would think of Benefit. They are the eyebrow gods. This brow pen makes the finest brow hairs and fills in the sparse areas of the brows. It it waterproof and sweat proof.”
“I have almost no brows due to the 90s and have had micro blading done. It’s all faded right now and I have no desire to have it redone. So I love having this pen that gives hair-like strokes for me to have brows again – this warm brown is great for everyday,” a second added.
But not everyone sing praises about the new product. A shopper noted: “I loved the old one better, the prongs on the pen were much short and closer together. This one, they are so far apart and long it’s awkward to work with. You press with a little force it comes out too dark, the prongs sometimes don’t even catch all three prongs, it’ll only show up two or missing half the other one.”
The Benefit Mighty Fine Brow Pen, however, is a helpful tool for first-time users who struggle to sculpt the brow shape, as one said: “I have never used a brow pen before, only powder and pencil which I was never thrilled with. I love this brow pen, I do have thicker brows with sparse areas and it fills and defines my brows perfectly. I use 3.5 medium brown (I have medium brown hair) and the colour is perfect. This looks so natural too you can wear it even if you don’t have makeup on and it looks natural. Great product.”
The available shades of the Mighty Fine Brow Pen, £26, are – neutral blonde, warm auburn, warm light brown, neutral medium brown, warm medium brown, warm deep brown, neutral deep brown and warm black brown.
Other than Benefit, Jones Road’s Brow Pencil, £22, is great for those who want buildable, natural colours and beauty fans have raved hailed the grey shade as “excellent” to blend in with light-haired brows. However, shoppers have to buy the sharpener separately.
Suqqu, a Japanese beauty brand, also offers a range of eyebrow makeup buys including the 3D Control Eyebrow Palette, £40, which I have reviewed for OK!. Available in two colours – sand and black brown – it comes with a double-ended brush for easy application. The taupe, dark brown and black colours on the palette are handy for me to mix the perfect shade to match my eyebrow hair. I found that it gives a more natural look.
