Police have reportedly arrested and released a man on bail as they investigate stalking and harassment directed at Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace after double break-in
Big Brother’s Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace thanks Met Police for keeping her ‘safe’
Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace shared an emotional post describing a brush with the police at her home. The Big Brother star became a big name after her time in the house, but she explained that it has come with very serious downsides.
A man has reportedly been arrested in connection with stalking Aisleyne, according to The Sun, and released on bail during further investigation. The Mirror has contacted the Metropolitan Police and representatives of Aisleyne for comment.
In a recent TikTok post, Aisleyne, 44, explained her experience with the unidentified stalker at the measures the Met had taken to protect her in her home, sharing that they’d been automatically called when her alarm was set off.
“I just want to post a quick video to explain something. So, I’ve had a serious situation in my life involving a stalker,” the Celebrity Coach Trip star shared.
“The police fitted panic alarms, sensors, and cameras all in my house. And I actually – ADHD – I actually forgot. So, I have to disarm it when I come in, otherwise the sensor thinks that it’s an intruder.”
Aisleyne got emotional as she praised: “Guys, within four minutes the police were at my door. And I just want to say thank you. Like I just feel so safe… oh, I’m going to get emotional. But I feel so safe.
“Within four minutes, they were there because that sensor was set off. I also want to say sorry because I didn’t put the code in. But yeah, just wow. Thank you.”
Model Aisleyne has suffered harassment over the course of many years and in 2018 was even burgled twice, leading to her and cops suspecting a stalking issue.
That March, she was held at her home at gunpoint by three masked intruders, who made her fear assault as they forced her to hand over designer handbags, jewellery and money.
Just a few months later, in November, the star was burgled while she was away during the day, and had her underwear, a pillowcase, an iPhone and an iPad stolen.
Speaking of the break-in afterwards, Aisleyne admitted that the burglar’s choice to take such intimate items was incredibly concerning.
“If they’ve gone to that extreme to break in just to steal my underwear, it feels scarier than a typical burglar,” she said. “It makes me feel like, what’s next?”
Aisleyne added: “The police think that it’s most likely to be a stalker who has been watching the house because I’ve had someone trolling me online for months and I think it’s him. I’m just devastated that I wasn’t home to protect my dogs.”
The terrifying incidents and police concern marked the point that Aisleyne turned to her sophisticated security system, as she shared: “There’s someone watching my house, 100 per cent. I want to up my security now and have cameras everywhere, with bars on my window.”
