With summer on the horizon, festival season is nearly upon us. From the iconic fields of Glastonbury to the powerhouse line-ups at Download, fortunate ticket holders across the UK are preparing for weekends filled with good vibes, live music, and (hopefully) sun-drenched afternoons with a beverage in hand.

But whether you’re headbanging to heavy metal or absorbing indie anthems, one thing is sure – a robust camping setup is crucial for surviving multi-day events. Most will require a dependable tent to call home for the weekend, and while quality gear can be pricey, outdoor brand Tiso has unveiled a fantastic deal that makes upgrading a bit easier.

The Phoxx II v2 2-Person Tent is now £84, down from £230 – a whopping £146 saving. Designed with pre-angled poles for additional internal space, this sturdy tent comfortably accommodates two people and even features a porch area – perfect for keeping muddy boots separate from your sleeping quarters.

Festival-friendly extras include internal storage pockets for easy access to essentials, lantern hanging points, and a fully waterproof groundsheet and flysheet built to withstand typical British rain showers. Even better, it only takes around seven minutes to pitch, so you can spend more time enjoying the music rather than struggling with tent poles.

This tent has a waterproof polyester flysheet to withstand heavy rain, lantern hanging points and internal storage pockets.

However, if you need something larger for a big group, there are plenty of options. Mountain Warehouse’s 6-person design, currently priced at £159.99, down from £259.99, features a dome style with ample ventilation and flysheet doors, reports Wales Online.

Otherwise, Decathlon offers an inflatable option for eight people. Priced at £999.99, it may be costly, but it is a breeze to set up and features a roomy living space and three bedrooms.

For festival-goers and campers starting from scratch, Tiso provides an array of camping accessories, including sleeping bags and airbeds. A particular highlight is the lightweight down-filled sleeping bag, now discounted to £186 from £260, perfect for staying snug and warm through the night.

Bargain hunters might also fancy grabbing a camping chair. This handy foldable seat with a drinks holder is a steal at just £10 in the sale.

Returning to the Phoxx II v2 2-Person Tent, one customer remarked that the tent ‘hasn’t let them down yet’ while another commented it ‘fit two people snugly. ‘ An individual recounted, “Tried it last night for the first time. Easy to erect. Lightweight and compact and very well made.”

Yet, a buyer cautioned: “The only issue is that the small pole is VERY tight to get into place and could break if forced too much.”

Solo campers aren’t left out, as Tiso has slashed the Phoxx I v2 1-Person Tent price to £70 from £165. It shares many features with its larger counterpart – water protection, clever storage, and swift pitching – but sports a compact tunnel design, requiring a crawl to enter.

A satisfied customer shared: “I bought this for my daughter as we’re planning a bikepacking trip. Space is tight, but it feels robust, and it’s light and compact enough to fit in a handlebar bag.”

However, the product didn’t win over everyone. A disgruntled buyer stated: “Tiny! I can’t sit inside (I’m just 5’3″), which makes it impractical for changing clothes and doing tick checks. It’s more of a shelter/bivvy rather than a tent. It’s very discreet in the wild, though.”

On a positive note, another user praised its resilience: “In its first use, this little tent stood up to everything thrown at it, including a month’s worth of rain in 24 hours.”
