Boots shoppers have been praising a popular cleanser that “melts away” make-up at the end of the day and leaves skin looking “nourished and glowing”. It’s now been slashed in price during an offer that makes it more than half of its usual cost in an online deal.

Normally sold at £21, the Inkey List Cleansing Balm & Pads Bundle has been reduced during the store’s weekly flash sale to just £10. The package deal includes a 150ml tube of the popular Oat Cleansing Balm (worth £12) and three of the Reusable Cleansing Pads (worth £9).

The oat-based formula is said to be “suitable for all skin types, including sensitive”. It dissolves “all traces of makeup, including waterproof and long-wear products” and enhances a “nourished and more glowing complexion.”

The cream is paired with the double-sided Cleansing Pads, which have two textures for “the ultimate clean”. One half is “super-soft” to help melt away make-up, SPF, and dirt, while the “lightly textured side” helps to give gentle exfoliation to “remove stubborn impurities and refine skin’s appearance”.

There are similar products available such as the B. Melting Cleansing Balm at Superdrug (£8.50 for 120g, down from £17) or e.l.f. Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm (£10.88 for 56.5g on Amazon). But, shoppers were impressed by the Inkey offer at Boots, which is available at a better than half price discount until July 23.

The bundle has hundreds of five-star reviews from shoppers who were “hooked” on the product that “removes make-up fast” and leaves “a soft, supple finish to your skin.” Other shoppers who tried and loved the results of this product piled in with praise.

One said: “I really like this cleansing balm. It feels soft and smooth on the skin, and melts away dirt and sunscreen easily. After washing, my face feels clean but not dry or tight. It’s very gentle and perfect. I use it every day and it never causes irritation. Will buy again!”

Another added: “Great product – my skin has been so much better following the use of this product and my skin is looking so much healthier. Was having loads of breakouts prior and now my skin is great since I’ve been using this product.”

A third wrote: “I love this cleanser. It cleans my skin thoroughly but leaves no dryness or tight feeling. It’s super gentle but super effective, and I use it every day.”

However, not all reviews were so glowing. Someone else claimed: “I love this product so much, and I’m so disappointed that I never quite know what I’m going to get. Some tubes are more oily and others have granules in them, which I really don’t want to use, and result in me wastefully throwing them out.”

And a fifth said: “I use to love this! This was my favourite cleanser but I think something has changed and there’s more grit? It now just irritates my skin rather than cleansing it. Really disappointed.”

Boots shoppers who spend during the flash £10 Tuesday event online will get 30 Advantage Points credited to their loyalty card. People who frequently shop at Boots can earn points for every £1 spent when signing up to the free Boots Advantage Card.

Build up points and check their value in-store at the till, online via your account, or using the Boots app. Next time you shop, you can use your points value instead of cash.
