Boots has launched a massive summer sale with huge savings on fragrances, electricals, and much more. Thousands of items have had their prices reduced on boots.com as the retail giant competes with Amazon’s Prime Day sale.

The Boots ‘Super Savings’ sale runs until July 15, giving shoppers more time to bag a bargain compared to the Amazon event, which only runs from July 8-11. Some of the ‘epic’ offers include half-price savings on designer scents, such as the Estée Lauder Modern Muse Eau de Parfum 50ml – now £42.50 (was £85).

Customers can also take advantage of Boots’ £10 Tuesday deals, including a MAC Mini MACximal Lipstick (worth £15) and this No7 Mixed Makeup Bundle (worth £45.75) – exclusively on the website. It’s an amazing opportunity to grab major discounts across must-have products.

The Estée Lauder Modern Muse perfume (now £45.50) blends floral and wood notes, promising to inspire confidence. Boots’ half-price sale offer beats others on the high street, with the scent being sold at its usual £85 price tag on The Perfume Shop and Superdrug.

One Boots shopper was impressed after trying the perfume, saying: “A light and refreshing scent, perfect for during the day as not too over powering. Makes me think of sunny days and summer time.” But someone else said: “The smell isn’t what I expected.”

For those keen to shop the £10 Tuesday sale on Boots, this week’s offers include this MAC Mini MACximal Silky Matte Lipstick slashed from £15 down to a tenner. Formulated with coconut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter, the makeup buy is said to provide up to 12 hours of full-coverage colour, as well as up to eight hours of moisture.

It comes in an array of flattering shades, including the ever-popular Velvet Teddy hue and Mehr. Boots’ price means shoppers pay less than they would on Debenhams and LookFantastic – where the lipstick costs £12.80.

One thrilled buyer said of the MAC item: “Glides on smoothly, I’m in love with the new formula, not drying and stays long, lasts through meal, didn’t have to reapply, feels comfy and light weight on the lips, no feathering or bleeding, non sticky or crumbly, received compliments, such a awesome shade range, bought in many colours, highly recommend.”

According to reviews, this matte lipstick feels ‘lightweight’ and ‘silky’ on the lips. It promises to condition and nourish the pout, whilst providing up to 12 hours of colour. Use a lip liner before application for best results.

There are also savings of up to 60% off to be had on electrical beauty at Boots. Included in this sale category is the Remington Shine Therapy Hair Straightener S8500 – now £23.99 (was £79). It matches the same offer running at Amazon, saving customers £56.

Some Boots reviewers reported snagging on plates, but others have left glowing comments for the straightener. One said: “My trusty GHDs broke but I wasn’t in a position to buy another pair so after looking at amazon reviews I opted for these. They probably take a fraction longer to warm up than my GHDs and there is no audible beep to let you know it’s got to temperature but a quick glance at the screen you know when it has.

“Once warmed up they are just as easy to use and in no time my hair was perfectly straight. In fact my hair stays straight for days afterwards no touch up required.”

Another sale worth checking out is running at Harrods. The iconic department store’s website includes incredible offers on beauty gift sets, makeup and luxury perfumes, like the Versace Bright Crystal Parfum (50ml) that’s down to £60.50, reduced from £121.

Savvy shoppers can enjoy the Boots Super Savings sale until July 15.
