Boots shoppers have been racing to snap up their “favourite” perfume that’s available at a fraction of its normal price. Hundreds vouched for the quality of this designer perfume, as some called it “gorgeous” and others claimed that the classic scent would “last all day”.

The Emporio Armani Diamonds Eau de Parfum has been cut in price at Boots. For a 50ml bottle, which is normally worth £62, shoppers can get one for £37, saving themselves almost £25 in the process.

The fruity perfume has hints of lychee and raspberry mixed with rose, Lily of the Valley, patchouli, amber and vanilla. Boots claims that the perfume has a “sensory blend that is a “surprising gourmand fragrance.”

Boots bosses describe the fragrance as being “sparkling, juicy [and] irresistible” – with hundreds of shoppers agreeing, based off the glowing reviews.

There are similar fragrances on offer elsewhere, such as Debenhams selling the TikTok-viral Arabiyat Prestige Nyla (80ml) for £40.99 or Superdrug’s offer on Ghost Sweetheart Eau de Toilette (75ml), which was £55 but is now £28.

However, hundreds had great things to say about the Armani perfume that is discounted at Boots. One said: “Gorgeous smell and will not need a lot to last all day! It was a great purchase for Christmas.”

Another wrote: “Love this perfume. Always get compliments when I wear it and asked what it is.” A third put: “Diamonds is the best fragrance I have ever tried. The smell is amazing, people always ask what I am wearing.”

And, one more said: “One of my favourite perfumes for evenings and special occasions.” However, it wasn’t all perfect for some shoppers.

One claimed: “Although it is EDP, the perfume does not last. Not impressed.” Another wrote: “Big let down. Bought for myself but will not buy again. The perfume wears off very quickly. I ended up using it to freshen the room – but that did not work either.”

Someone else suggested: “This is the most disappointed I’ve ever been with a perfume. Had eau de toilettes that lasted much longer. I truly smell it for no more than 5 minutes.”

However, despite these criticisms, most shoppers were thrilled with the product. One more said: “Been buying this perfume for around a year and a half now and I’m still as in love with it as I was when I first bought it! Even had strangers asking me what I was wearing as they loved it! One person even told me I smelled ‘incredible’, so you cannot go wrong with this perfume!”
