Boots has slashed 50% off a designer perfume that’s “absolutely beautiful” and gets “loads of compliments.” The beauty giant has reduced Emporio Armani Because It’s You Eau de Parfum 50ml from £82 to £41. The perfume is described as a fruity floral scent, with vanilla, musk, and raspberry notes.
The “irresistible” fragrance is popular with reviewers who praised the long-lasting scent. However, this was a downside for a less pleased reviewer who suggested the “extremely sweet scent” can “easily become overpowering.”
Shoppers looking for deals might also like the Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau de Parfum 30ml, which is on offer for £54 from £72 at LookFantastic. Or, Estée Lauder Youth Dew Eau de Parfum Spray 67ml, which is on offer for £19.95 from £60 at AllBeauty.

Elsewhere, beauty lovers might prefer Chloé Eau de Parfum Intense for Women 30ml, which is on offer for £60 from £75 at Debenhams. As with most beauty products, shoppers will have different preferences.

One happy reviewer said: “Every time I’ve worn this perfume people comment on how good I smell. I’ve had random people ask me in shops on aeroplanes etc. I don’t know about others but I know that this definitely suits me. I like the fruity floral smell as it touches my skin.”
Another pleased customer wrote: “I work at the dentist practice and one of our patients came smelling divine. I asked which perfume he was wearing and he told me about Armani because of you. The same day I went to shop to smell the lady’s one and ordered straight away. Is absolutely beautiful smell and last long. I get loads of compliments too.”
However, a different shopper wrote: “Didn’t think this had a very nice smell, it was too strong and sickly for me and smelled like a cheap perfume. I normally love Armani fragrances as well, quite disappointed.”
Another thought: “These fragrances were very strong and overpowering, with a very chemical scent.” An unhappy response read: “On the plus side the smell is strong, and lasts a good while. However, the smell is not for me. I found it quite repulsive if I’m honest, and will avoid at all costs in future.”
Someone else complained: “This is an extremely sweet scent that is long lasting but it can easily become overpowering.” But another praised: “The perfume smells gorgeous, its a fresh sweet vanilla smell which goes well in the day or evening and even party wear.”
A different customer added: “My boyfriend bought me this for Christmas and it’s a lovely sweet scent which I found lasts all day! Not too overpowering neither which is great. Would definitely buy again once I’ve ran out!”
