The British boxing legend – who won Olympic gold in 2008 – will not be lacing up the gloves, though. The two-time world champion is set to make his bare-knuckle boxing debut in Manchester. DeGale retired from the sport back in 2019 after suffering a defeat to Chris Eubank Jr. He faces a tough test on his return to the ring as he takes on Matt Floyd – who also has some experience as a professional boxer.
Also this evening, Ben Crocker will be putting his IBF European super lightweight title on the line against Sean McComb in Sheffield. McComb comes into the showdown odd the back of a comfortable victory over Alexis Nahuel Torres. As for Crocker, the Welsh star fought to a split draw against Tiernan Bradley in his last outing following back-to-back wins against Stelios Papadopoulos.
