Brit fighting for Putin sets fire to his UK passport in expletive-riddled video

By staff5 October 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

Aiden Minnis, who left his native country to join the Russian army in its war against Ukraine, was filmed setting fire to his UK passport in a propaganda-style video

A British “traitor” fighting for Vladimir Putin set fire to his UK passport in an expletive-riddled video.

Aiden Minnis posed in what will be seen as a blatant propaganda video for the Kremlin. The 38-year-old, from Chippenham in Wiltshire, long ago boasted that he had been awarded a Russian passport and then a bravery medal by Vladimir Putin.

In his latest video, a bearded Minnis – who has made clear he “hates” his home country – said against the backdrop of a Russian tricolour flag: “My British passport. There’s new anti-legislation, anti-terror legislation in the United Kingdom. [It] says they can withdraw and revoke citizenship to anyone that participates in anything they deem as a threat to their country.

“So consider my passport revoked, consider it rescinded, and consider it that I do not want it anymore. You can kiss my a**. So, f*** you, Great Britain. Slava Rossii [Glory to Russia].”

He can then be seen shooting in the air with a huge rifle as the video finishes. More than a year ago the turncoat said: “I have a Russian passport. I am now Russian.”

In fact, the passport he brandished – an internal ID document denoting citizenship, not valid for foreign travel – would not save him from prosecution and jail in Britain nor extradition to the UK if he travels to the West. He earlier vowed to continue putting slain Ukrainians and English mercenaries “in wooden boxes”.

The Kremlin-linked propaganda media outlet Readovka was involved along with Putin-backing politicians in Russian republic Udmurtia – home of the Kalashnikov gun-making plant – in rushing through his citizenship at breakneck speed. Former drug addict Minnis, who previously described Putin as “the greatest politician on earth”, travelled to Ukraine last year and calls himself both a “Z Patriot” and a “sapper in the Russian army”.

Minnis faces jail for terror offences if he ever returns to Britain which he brands a “fascist state”. He has already spent time in jail in the UK for a violent racist attack

In the summer, the British thug bragged about being awarded a bravery medal by the Russian army for “wiping out” Ukrainians. Minnis, who has married a Russian, has proudly declared he “hates” the UK and said he is prepared to die for Putin.

He has been disowned by his family who claim they want “nothing to do with him.” In an interview in June with Russian website RT, Minnis described his life at the Russian frontline of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. He said: “My tasks can vary. You can spend several months in the trenches or participate in an evacuation or assault. There are many variables here depending on what is happening operationally.

“I get very nervous sometimes. Where we are is a very dangerous and active zone. It’s impossible to relax or switch off, even being in your positions. Every day there are drones, mortars and tank shells.”

Minnis said many of his fellow Russian soldiers had been killed. He said: “That’s the hardest part. When you get to know them on the deepest level, and then sadly they make the ultimate sacrifice. It’s happened many times here.”
