A van has crashed into the side of a city centre building with emergency services on the scene.
The incident happened outside the NCP car park at Quay Street – a busy scene for revellers – in Cardiff. Pictures show a cordon is in place between La Pantera and the City Arms while the large white vehicle remains wedged in the black shop front between the very popular Casanova Italian and Asador 44 restaurants.
There is a heavy emergency services presence at the scene including South Wales Police and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. “My friend and I arrived just after it happened before they closed off the street, the van a white VW and people who saw it said the van came flying out of the NCP car park,” said one person.
