Caroline Flack’s mother Christine reveals ‘biggest regret’ in first-look Disney+ clip

By staff27 October 2025No Comments4 Mins Read

Caroline Flack’s mother Christine has revealed her ‘biggest regret’ in a first-look clip from Disney+’s new two-part documentary Caroline Flack: Search for the Trut

Caroline Flack’s mother Christine has revealed her biggest regret following her daughter’s death. Caroline tragically took her own life at the age of 40, and her mother doesn’t want others to suffer the same nightmare.

Speaking in a first look clip from Disney+’s new two-part documentary Caroline Flack: Search for the Truth, Christine goes with her children to visit a memorial bench for Caroline.

Speaking of her daughter, Christine said: “I think Caroline would be pleased with what I’m doing. I wish I had done it then, before she took her own life, and that’s my biggest regret, that I wasn’t shouting like this, then. But now I have nothing to lose. The worst thing in the world happened with losing Carrie.”

In the first look clip, Christine attended the memorial space for Caroline with her children. She explained: “I come here, and you have different moods when you’re here, don’t you? That day, I must have felt really… not as good.

“I just put, ‘Another lonely year has passed. I missed you just as much today as the day you left. I am doing my very best to tell the world what some awful people drove you to. I won’t give up. Love you with all my heart.'”

Elizabeth, Caroline’s older sister, then asks her: “Do you think there will ever be a moment, mum, when you will feel content that you can stop fighting?”

Christine then added: “I hope I can stop. I hope there will be an end to it. You can’t fight for the rest of your life, but you can fight until the truth is out there.”

Elizabeth replied: “My main anxiety is, you’re dealing with organisations that are so corrupt, they have so much money, legal experts, can you ever really get to the truth in these organisations? …

“I just hope I can achieve something. And as long as you lot all don’t mind me doing it, I will go ahead.”

Christine previously spoke to The Mirror about her daughter’s legacy. She told us: “At the end, Carrie didn’t think there was anything to live for, she felt the world had turned against her. I hope people who read her story will see her life was wasted and may think twice about ending theirs. That’s how I want Carrie to be remembered, for inspiring people to live.

“Caroline understood when people were feeling down and she would talk to them, almost as though she knew how they were feeling. Through her bench and others, her kindness and compassion can continue to support people.

“And I know she would be unbelievably proud. The idea was to have a safe place where people can go at any time of the day or night to sit and think. There are so many negatives in this world at the moment.”

She added of Caroline’s memorial bench: “I think that’s often why people give up, because they don’t see any hope. Caroline’s bench provides hope, even if it’s just to sit there for five minutes and think about things in a safe environment. And I know from speaking to people in the community that it’s used a lot. The QR code was worn out so quickly it had to be replaced.”
