Celebrity Big Brother star Lauren Simon gave her honest verdict on co-star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s new romance with Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard with a brutal comment
Lauren Simon may be a Cheshire local, but she took a trip further South last year to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house for the rebooted ITV2 series. And the reality star didn’t disappoint as she found herself at the centre of mischief on the show, including joining forces with music management legend Louis Walsh to break the house rules.
Detailing her time on the show, which returns for a new season next week, Lauren tells us, “I was so lucky to meet some really special people” and says she’s still close to housemates Louis, Levi Roots and Bradley Riches.
Looking back on her time sharing digs with Louis and his fellow X Factor alum Sharon Osbourne, she said, “They were Incredible, so interesting, the most fabulous gossips with so many stories, many you didn’t get to see, but their secrets are safe with me – I loved them”.
With famous names such as Patsy Palmer and Chesney Hawkes rumoured to be entering the house next week, Lauren’s advice for the new housemates is short and sweet. “Don’t talk about nominations,” she laughs, but if you do, “always say you’re sorry Lauren style” she adds.
The mum-of-two also has some advice for her former housemate Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who recently appeared on Love Island: All Stars and found love with co-star Curtis Pritchard. But admitting she isn’t sure it’s the real deal, Lauren reveals, “Not sure she will stay with Curtis, he’s far too wet for her, She needs a man not a boy.” Don’t hold back, Lauren!
The Real Housewives of Cheshire are celebrating 10 years of the show on screen with a special all-stars series, which features many familiar faces from over the years. The new series, which is currently airing, features Rachel Lugo, Lauren Simon, Ellie Egar, Lystra Adams, Paige Chohan, Sheena Lynch and Seema Malhotra back on screen, while OG housewife Dawn Ward even made a resurgence last week.
“This series is extra special. Not only did we start off in Thailand, which was fantastic, but we’ve also got lots of familiar faces joining and it was brilliant to be filming with them again,” Rachel tells us. While everyone may be in the celebratory mood, Sheena tells us there is still plenty of ‘explosive’ drama left in this series.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire airs on ITVBe and ITVX at 9pm on Monday 7 April.
