Celebrity Traitors star Alan Carr declined to send a message to his pal Paloma Faith after she announced her third pregnancy aged 44 just days after he ‘murdered’ her on the BBC show
One major star has neglected to issue a response to Celebrity Traitor Paloma Faith’s surprise pregnancy news. The pop star, 44, announced her third pregnancy in a social media post on Friday to the delight of her followers.
She shared a series of stunning photos as she showed off her bare bump for the first time. Paloma cradled her dog as she rolled up a sports jersey to reveal her stomach.
In her other snap, she posed while lying on her bed in the same attire. Sharing her happy news, Paloma said: “Plot twist, mother is mothering (again),” before adding: “#morethangeriatricpregnancy #oappregnancy #oapmilf #18weekspregnant.”

Paloma went public with her boyfriend Stevie Thomas in March this year, having welcomed two daughters with ex-husband Leyman Lahcine. She stepped into the spotlight once again when she took part in the current celebrity spin-off of The Traitors.
Sadly, Paloma became the first celebrity to be ‘murdered’ on the hit BBC show by her pal Alan Carr in a shock twist. The pair have continued to share jokes about Paloma’s murder since the series has aired.
Now, Alan has neglected to respond to Paloma’s pregnancy announcement, despite being tagged in her post by fans. One clear Celebrity Traitors lover commented: “So @chattyman committed a double murder, boooo Alan!!!”
Meanwhile, another follower cheekily asked: “Will Alan be Godfather?” A third joked: “Plot twist! The baby is Alan’s.” Alan Carr’s publicity team has been contacted for comment.
On the other hand, other stars from the beloved BBC series did not hesitate to congratulate Paloma. Traitors host Claudia Winkleman gushed: “SO SO HAPPY FOR YOU.” The singer’s co-star Kate Garraway also commented: “Congratulations fabulous woman – exciting times xxx.”
Paloma previously welcomed her daughter in December 2016 and another baby girl in February 2021. She has been candid about her devastating fertility struggles over the years, having conceived both her children through IVF.
The Only Love Can Hurt Like This hitmaker had six rounds of IVF as she suffered an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage. Paloma had a traumatic labour with her first child as she needed to have an emergency C-section.
She was left with fertility problems and post-partum psychosis. Paloma opened up on the How to Fail with Elizabeth Day podcast: “After 21 hours in labour and no sleep for a week. I had 7 hours of sleep in 7 days…
“I had an emergency cesarean which later on caused me fertility problems as well, and then a bit of post-partum psychosis because of lack of sleep so I was, like, hallucinating. Probably depressed for a couple of years without realising…
“Later I wanted a second child and then I had 3 failed transfers. The fourth one worked and I was just so, kind of, headstrong about it.” Paloma heartbreakingly had a miscarriage while at work but decided to carry on as she feared losing her job.
At the time, she was working on he set of 2019 Pennyworth, in which she played sociopath Bet Sykes. She devastatingly shared: “[The miscarriage] started at work and it was a fight scene on Pennyworth.
“I just thought to myself, It’s gone so I might as well carry on with what I was doing. I had to go to the toilet 9 times… I told them I ate something bad last night because I knew if I told them they would escort me home.
“I didn’t want to. I would just be going home without work and without a viable pregnancy.” Paloma’s rounds of IVF with her ex-husband Leyman were “harrowing” for the star.
“Nobody knows it’s happening,” she said. “We had some issues… I knew quite quickly there were problems and then found out the beginning of our fertility treatment was because it was on his side there were those problems but thanks to modern science and the patriarchy, it still falls on the woman.”
