Center Parcs has introduced a major change at all of its sites that all guests need to know about. The holidaying giant announced it will now require people to check into their lodges at staggered times in a move aimed at enhancing their breaks.

The firm revealed that all guests arriving from Monday, September 29, would benefit from the staggered entry times, irrespective of when their booking was made. It confirmed that customers wouldn’t need to take any extra steps as part of the transformation.

All they need to do is adhere to the arrival guidance in their pre-arrival email or booking confirmation, reports Nottinghamshire Live.

Center Parcs says the fresh approach to lodge arrivals, where visitors gain access to their accommodation at varying times, will help tackle arrival chaos for visitors.

A company representative informed guests: “This new approach is designed to create a smoother, more relaxing arrival experience for all guests. By staggering lodge entry times, we are aiming to reduce traffic on the village, minimise queues, improve availability of parking spaces and give guests staying in premium lodges even more time to settle in.”

Center Parcs also made clear guests wouldn’t face any extra fees for their different entry slots, stating the alteration had been “designed to enhance your experience and create a more relaxed arrival”. Despite the change, visitors can still arrive at their chosen holiday park from 10am.

The move applies to all five of Center Parcs’ holiday villages. They are:

Center Parcs reassured its guests by saying: “You can still arrive on village from 10am on your arrival day, park in the car park and enjoy everything from the Subtropical Swimming Paradise to cycle hire and many other activities. This change only affects the time your lodge will be ready.

“If your lodge includes a hot tub, it will be cleaned, prepared and ready to enjoy from around 4pm – just in time for a relaxing dip after you settle in.”

As of September 29, visitors can access their lodge at the following times:

  • Treehouses: access from 1pm
  • Exclusive Lodges: access from 2pm (no change)
  • Forest Lodges, Hotels & Apartments: access from 3pm
  • Woodland Lodges: access from 4pm (no change)

Guests staying in the resort’s Woodland and Forest accommodation have the option to purchase early entry, allowing them to settle in two hours earlier than usual. For Woodland Lodges, this means guests can enter from 2pm (instead of 4pm) and from 1pm (instead of 3pm) for Forest Lodges, Hotel and Apartments.
