Charli XCX confirms Kylie Jenner and A-listers for new drama film The Moment

By staff10 October 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

Charlie XCX’s upcoming drama film, The Moment, will feature a number of huge A-list names, including billionaire Kylie Jenner

Charli XCX has confirmed the huge new cast for her new drama film, The Moment. The A24-backed film is based on an original idea by the brat singer, who also stars in the upcoming movie about a rising pop star navigating the difficulties of fame and the intense music industry.

She will be producing the film, which will be released next year, under her Studio365 label alongside David Hinojosa. Some of the A-list cast members include Kylie Jenner, Rachel Sennott, Aidan Zamiri, and Alexander Skarsgard. Others joining the cast are Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou, Arielle Dombasle, Hailey Benton Gates, and Trew Mullen.

Mel Ottenberg, Richard Perez, Isaac Powell, Rish Shah, Tish Weinstock, Michael Workéyè, Shygirl, A. G. Cook and Kate Berlant will also be featured.

A teaser for the film, uploaded onto her Instagram page, showed the names of the stars featuring in the movie flashing across the screen in blinding lights.

Fans, friends and brands were over the moon with the announcement, with Grinder’s page writing: “She’s an icon, she’s a legend, and she IS the moment,” while one fan commented: “Counting down the seconds!!!”

“Amazing!!! I can’t wait to see it,” one said and another person posted: “Seizuring but slay.”

It comes as fans were convinced the Brat singer could be plotting revenge against Taylor Swift, who appears to reference a feud in her new album.

Reception to Taylor’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl, has been mixed. And there’s been plenty of conversation about who the Eras Tour super-star could be referring to in her track, Actually Romantic.

Actually Romantic features the lyrics: “I heard you call me Boring Barbie when the coke’s got you brave / High-fived my ex and then said you’re glad he ghosted me.

“Wrote me a song saying it makes you sick to see my face / Some people might be offended / But it’s actually sweet.”

Meanwhile, fans are convinced the shade was thrown at Charli, with some pointing out that the 365 singer is back in the studio again.

It lead some to speculate whether or not she will be releasing a diss track in response to Actually Romantic. A picture of Charli in the studio has garnered more than 18.7million views on X – and people are very excited at the prospect of new music.
