Angela Silk, from Brisbane, Australia, was brutally killed by her boyfriend Alexander George O’Sachy – she shared her concerns about his behaviour shortly before her death
A woman reached out for help on Facebook just weeks before she was stabbed to death by her partner.
Angela Silk, also known as Angela Goodwin, was found lying in a pool of blood after she was stabbed in the leg by Alexander George O’Sachy in 2021. He almost severed a major artery during the attack. Despite medics best efforts, she was pronounced dead.
O’Sachy is set to be sentenced for manslaughter after pleading guilty at the Supreme Court earlier this week. It has been reported that his history of violence was documented on a Facebook page called ‘Keep Alex O’Sachy in jail’. In the weeks leading up to her death, it was found that Silk had discovered the page and left a comment under a post. It said: “I am dating Alex … Do I need to know more about this..?”

She continued in another comment: “Hello … I see no harm in talking to you about THIS … I am still a bit bewildered … And I think I need someone to help me with my confusion abit (sic) … I’m pretty sure on that … So please if you don’t mind … Yes please … I need to talk to you … At the moment I can text only … Please and thankyou (sic).”
The day before she was killed, some users responded to her post to check whether she was “safe”. But sadly, media reports had already began to surface that O’Sachy had been charged with her murder, reports News AU. One woman commented: “Pretty sure she’s the lady that was found deceased in his home last night. Huge crime scene on Wishart Rd (in) Upper Mount Gravatt.”
Someone else said: “This post is haunting. I just read the first comment from Angela. Rest in peace.” The Facebook page is believed to have been made following the death of teenager Leanne Thompson in September 2006. The 15-year-old was involved in a sexual relationship with O’Sachy.
In 2013, Coroner John Lock said O’Sachy, who was 28 at the time, supplied her with drugs and was violent towards her. It was also found that he had instructed Leanne to kill herself on the day she died. However, the Supreme Court jury were unable to reach a verdict about the charge.
O’Sachy pleaded guilty to unlawful carnal knowledge regarding the intimate releationship he had formed with the teen in 2012. The predator was also connected to the death of another teenager, Andrew Anderson, who shot himself on July 23, 2005.
It was reported that Mr Anderson had spent the previous evening with O’Sachy drinking alcohol and using marijuana and amphetamines. However, O’Sachy was spared charges in relation to his death.
