In an interview, the Traitors star shared some of her favourite year-round beauty essentials
TV personality and broadcaster Claudia Winkelman revealed that one of her must-have moisturisers is an inexpensive product available at Amazon. Normally, Weleda’s Skin Food retails for £12 but has 18% off at the moment and is under £10.
Back in 2021, Claudia shared 10 beauty essentials that she always adds to her basket and some of her most-loved beauty and haircare products. The Traitors star unveiled Weleda’s Skin Food as her top moisturiser, and it’s currently on Amazon for £9.94.
In the Get The Gloss interview, Winkleman said: “I am also extremely keen on Skin Food by Weleda. It does what it promises. My skin inhales it.” She also referenced the low price, which no doubt makes it a bargain buy worth keeping around.

Ideal for nourishing dry skin, Weleda Skin Food has a gentle yet hardworking formula to provide a deeper level of hydration. It’s formulated with natural ingredients, including rosemary to stimulate circulation and sunflower and sweet almond oils to nourish.
Beeswax and lanolin help to lock in moisture that is long-lasting and incredibly kind to the skin. The addition of extracts from pure plant oils results in a hydration that makes skin feel smooth and supple. As well as being made with natural ingredients, the cream is also vegan and cruelty-free.
As cold weather sets in and more is expected on the way, creams like Weleda Skin Food are a must for your beauty regime, keeping your skin soft even during harsh weather.
Boasting an incredible 25,000 five-star ratings on Amazon, it’s not hard to see why celebs and beauty fans alike love it. One person wrote: “This moisturiser is seriously good stuff. It’s super hydrating and keeps my skin feeling great all day.
“I love the scent, it’s really fresh and natural. It’s a little thick, but it soaks in nicely. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!”
A second person shared: “A thick cream that works well overnight. My dry skin has responded well to this, I was tipped off about this brand by a makeup artist. The smell is quite strong but pleasant enough and doesn’t last. It’s good stuff, value for money and no-nonsense!”
A third buyer said: “I have combination skin and nothing moisturises my face as perfectly as this. It’s non-greasy and very thick but rubs in with ease, leaving your skin moisturised for hours and hours. A little goes a long way too which makes it so cost-effective!”
However, some customers noted in the reviews that the formula was a little too thick for what they were looking for. One comment read: “It is very thick and moisturising if that’s what you’re looking for, but it does smell a bit strange.” A second buyer shared: “A bit too rich for me.”
