Coleen Rooney posed with her youngest son Cass at a luxury hotel as she enjoys some quality downtime following her I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! stint.
The media personality, 38, has since returned to the UK but shared some adorable pictures of herself and Cass, six, at the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is believed she had a quick break there after leaving Australia, following coming runner-up in the ITV programme.
Coleen, who has more than 1.4million followers on Instagram, captioned her post: “Enjoying the hotel Pool post jungle!! ….Love my bikini @naia_beach @tessdaly❤️” The WAG, from Liverpool, spent three weeks in the camp, during which time Cass and his older brother Kit made a surprise visit.
Considering cheeky Kit, eight, said: “Ugh, she stinks” as he first saw his mum, it may be no wonder the TV personality was keen on some rest and relaxation in the winter sun before her return to the UK. She’s since been seen dropping her sons to school as she goes back to normality.
Her time in the jungle was the longest period Coleen has made away from husband Wayne in their 16-year marriage. The mum of four had said: “In the letter I got he said he’s never missed me as much – and I can understand that because we’ve not spoke. We’ve been apart for weeks and weeks on end, but we speak a number of times a day, we FaceTime. So to not have that communication, it’s been tough.”
But Wayne, currently the manager of Plymouth Argyle, overcame her struggle to almost clinch victory. The mum lost out to Danny, 38, by just over ten per cent of the 10million votes cast.
Recalling her challenge, the strong-willed media personality said: “In that first week, I did wake up one morning and obviously I’d been given the pillow that I was sleeping on.
“I looked and I’d seen Wayne and the kids, and I had a little cry and thought, ‘I don’t know whether I can go all this way’. And that was only week one.
“But then I soon snapped out of it and went and done the washing up, and collected the wood and did whatever I had to do and it was fine. I got on with it.”
