Netflix star and comedian Matt Rife fumed at a last-minute decision by Delta Airlines after he was kicked out of his first class seat for a flight
A stateside comedian let rip after being given the boot from first class last minute. Netflix star Matt Rife took to social media to share his fume at the decision in an expletive rant.
Matt, 30, was raging with Delta Airlines after claiming to have purchased a first-class seat. However, he said he was told at the last minute that a “random aircraft reason” meant the seat was no longer available.
On Twitter /X, Matt fumed: “Hey @Delta f*** you to pieces. I hate your airline. A billion points on here – paid money for a first class ticket, just to lose my seat for a “random aircraft reason”?? Goooo f*** yourself.”

His reaction was met with mixed response by his followers. One user who felt his discontent told him: “Hard agree Matt,” alongside an emoji of 100.
But despite some being in agreement, other mocked that he would have to “sit with the commoners”. One user joked: “Time to get that private jet.”
Another jibed: “Random aircraft reason” = “someone that is friends with the staff gets a free seat”,” and a third said: “I’d hate to work for @Delta and be going to his next show….”
Another said they fully expect the comedian to use the scenario as part of his next stand-up show.
A Delta spokesperson told the Mirror: “We have seen the post and are looking into it. We are getting in touch with the customer.”
Matt later added an update, saying: “I don’t think there’s been one time in the last 7 years of me flying, that by the time i reach my gate I’m not pouring sweat from walking 2 miles, carrying 65lbs of luggage.”
Last month, Matt confirmed he is the new ‘legal guardian’ of the Annabelle doll that is said to be cursed and inspired The Conjuring movie franchise and its subsequent Annabelle spin-off films.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, he admitted he is “obsessed with the paranormal and all things haunted”, and that The Conjuring films films are his “favourite scary movies of all time”.
He shared the news weeks after the Annabelle doll’s previous caretaker – paranormal investigator Dan Rivera – mysteriously died as he took it on tour round America. The 54-year-old was found dead in his hotel room in Pennsylvania on July 13.
The doll is supposedly haunted by the spirit of a deceased six-year-old girl who others have claimed has the ability to move around. It’s said it can even inflict “psychic slashes” on horrified house guests.
Matt shared his new purchase on social media. Alongside a snap with the doll, he wrote: “INSANE ANNOUNCEMENT. I have officially purchased Ed and Lorraine Warren’s home and Occult Museum, including being the legal guardian for at least the next 5 years, of the entire haunted collection including THE ANNABELLE DOLL, with my good friend @eltoncastee!!
“If you know me, you know I’m obsessed with the paranormal and all things haunted. You also may know The Conjuring films are my favourite scary movies of all time. So I’m incredibly honoured to have taken over one of the most prominent properties in paranormal history.
“Ed and Lorain Warren arguably put demonology and paranormal into the mainstream and are the very heart of some of the most famous haunted stories of all time, The Conjuring House, Amityville Horror, etc…”
