Costa Coffee announces major change to menus across UK from October

By staff6 October 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

Costa Coffee has made a major change to its menu across UK stores from October with the return of three customer favourites

Costa Coffee has made a significant alteration to its menu across UK outlets from October, reintroducing three customer favourites.

The well-liked coffee chain has resurrected three festive delights to commence the Christmas season early. Costa Coffee patrons now have the opportunity to savour the chain’s iconic Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin and buttery mince pies, along with a gluten-free, vegan option.

For many, Christmas commences with the taste of the first mince pie, and this year, Costa is delivering that festive joy earlier than ever.

Costa Coffee’s all-butter mince pie comprises a golden, buttery pastry filled with rich mincemeat, topped off with pastry decoration and a sweet dusting of sugar. Customers can also indulge in a plant-based treat with the seasonal classic, featuring a gluten-free, vegan mince tart, ensuring those with dietary requirements can enjoy the taste of Christmas.

And for those with a fondness for chocolate, there’s the Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin, which is filled with chocolate orange sauce, topped with icing and finished with a Terry’s chocolate orange segment, reports the Express.

The coffee chain stated these sweet treats have become a seasonal tradition for its customers across the UK, offering a taste of Christmas long before the big day.

Nishant Bhatia, Costa Coffee’s global food and beverage innovation director, said: “We know that for many of our customers, the festive season starts with little moments, enjoying a mince pie alongside a coffee or picking up a Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin on a winter day.

“Bringing back these favourites early is our way of helping our customers savour the excitement that builds in the run-up to Christmas.”

These seasonal treats are now available in Costa Coffee outlets across the country. The All Butter Mince Pie costs £3.45, whilst the Mince Tart is priced at £3, and the Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin will set you back £3.60, though prices may differ depending on location.

Punters can also register as a Costa Club member without charge online or through the Costa Club app to gain early access to fresh menu options, exclusive benefits and deals, plus a complimentary beverage after collecting 10 beans. Beans can be earned each time you purchase a drink at a Costa shop or visit a Costa Express machine.
