Craig David performs Just Eat hit live for lucky cafe customers

By staff27 October 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

The garage legend will sing the ‘Every Neighbour Got Their Flava’ hit live for the first time in Johnnies Cafe in Camberwell, south east London, on Thursday November 13th

Craig David will be performing his new Just Eat advert hit live for the first time in a London cafe for a handful of lucky fans.

The garage legend will sing ‘Every Neighbour Got Their Flava’ in Johnnies Cafe in Camberwell, south east London, on Thursday November 13th.

The party, taking place from 7pm-10pm, comes as research of 1,000 adults by Just Eat reveals 80% Brits consider their local takeaway or convenience store as the backbone of their community. A third (32%) see the owners as part of their extended family.

The spotlight is on family-run Johnnies Cafe as 62% of Brits wish they could give back to their local takeaway legend.

Just Eat is celebrating this pillar of the community with an epic party where regulars and newcomers alike can show their appreciation for the cafe that’s served the community for 50 years.

Speaking about the upcoming gig, Craig said: “I’m gassed for this.

“It’s going to be such a vibe performing my TS5 set at Johnnies Cafe and playing my Just Eat track Every Neighbour Got Their Flava live for the first time.”

Sonny, owner of Johnnies Cafe, said: “We’ve been serving the Camberwell community for more than fifty years, proudly taking care of breakfast since 1975.

“It’s a privilege and an honour to be the hosts of this one-off gig with Craig David in partnership with Just Eat.

“This collaboration blends our delicious food and setting that locals love, with Craig’s presence and we couldn’t be more excited.”

Claire Pointon at Just Eat said: “Our research is clear. Local bosses are the backbone of our communities.

“This event celebrates Just Eat local legend Johnnies, a family-run Camberwell institution that has been serving its neighbourhood proudly for half a century.

“From local gems like this to thousands of restaurant partners and retailers across the country, we’re proud to deliver for every occasion and serve every corner of the nation.”

The track ‘Every Neighbour Got Their Flava’, reflects how Just Eat delivery has evolved in recent years and is more embedded in people’s lives.

The recent Just Eat study showed that more than half of Brits (54%) use delivery apps to celebrate life milestones, such as birthdays and anniversaries.

In addition, more than a quarter (26%) regularly order mid-week meals with one in five (22%) using delivery services for grocery top-ups.

Almost one in 10 (9%) rely on them for last-minute holiday essentials.

With lines like ‘no chilli – it’s an SOS’ and ‘nappies, coffee, rolls to go’, the tune gives a nod to relatable everyday moments.

This includes date night cooking disasters to the playful last-minute chaos of family life, celebrating the huge range of products and dishes available on Just Eat from grocery and takeaway to pharmacy and electronics.

For tickets to the ‘Just Eat presents: Did Somebody Say Craig David’ gig, Just Eat is encouraging fans to register in advance via Skiddle, and they will be notified when tickets go on sale on November 5th.
