The bittersweet final season of the Seinfeld co-creator’s acclaimed sitcom is available to watch on-demand with Sky Comedy
The final season of hit US sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm is now airing in the UK. The acclaimed long-running series stars Larry David as a fictional version of himself and follows the amusing misadventures of the semi-retired Seinfeld creator as he struggles to navigate everyday life in Los Angeles.
Each episode sees Larry fall victim to a series of social faux pas in the series which has become iconic in the comedy world since its 2000 debut and is renowned for its improvised dialogue. For 24 years, Curb has combined Larry’s social awkwardness, politically incorrect behaviour and lack of filters to cultivate a hugely successful, beloved and hilarious satire on modern life.
In December, David released a statement announcing the new season of the HBO-produced comedy would be its last, writing: “As Curb comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be – the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character.

“And so ‘Larry David,’ I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed. And for those of you who would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me at Doctors Without Borders.”
Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12 premiered in the UK on Monday (February 5) in an episode that saw Larry head to Georgia to appear at the birthday party of a prominent businessman. It is broadcast exclusively on Sky Comedy in the UK, which is currently available in Sky’s February deal along with Netflix, Sky Stream and Superfast broadband for £39 a month.
But savvy shoppers can save £414 by upgrading the bundle with Sky’s Full Fibre 100Mb/s broadband for just £1 more. That’s because the package has been cut from £63 a month to £40 across the entire 18-month term, while not paying extra for Netflix saves almost £90 more.
Bargain hunters can sign up today to lock in the current price for 18 months and enjoy blockbuster shows like True Detective and the all-new Ted prequel series, plus Netflix shows like Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen and Andrew Scott’s Ripley at no extra cost.
For those who may be looking for a TV package without broadband, Sky offers a great low-cost bundle with Sky TV, Sky Stream and Netflix for £25 a month. There’s also a £28 31-day rolling subscription that can be cancelled any time, while film fans can add Sky Cinema from £10 and get Paramount+ absolutely free, plus two free Vue cinema tickets every month.
Alongside David, Curb Your Enthusiasm stars Cheryl Hines as Larry’s now-ex-wife Cheryl, Jeff Garlin as his manager Jeff, Susie Essman as Jeff’s wife Susie, J.B Smoove as his friend and roommate Leon and comedian Richard Lewis as Larry’s long-suffering friend and fictional version of himself. Throughout its decades-long run, the series has featured a host of A-list guest stars, including Vince Vaughn, Michael J. Fox, Christian Slater, Martin Scorsese, Jon Hamm and Ben Stiller.
Curb has been nominated for more than 50 Emmys and five Golden Globes and was awarded the 2003 Golden Globe for best TV comedy or musical. The latest season has earned some rave reviews, with The Guardian awarding it five stars and hailing David as “the very best in the business.”
