As we get ready to head into August, the UK is predicted to experience yet another heatwave, with temperatures expected to hit over 30 degrees again in the coming weeks. Couple that with the promise of another long Bank Holiday weekend on August 25, and we’re still promised plenty of time sunning ourselves in the garden.

To get ahead of the sunshine and make the most of the last few weeks of summer, now is a great time to get round to sprucing up your outdoor space and finally picking up that garden furniture you’ve been promising yourself you’ll buy. If you’re looking to save some money, Debenhams summer sale is a great place to shop, especially now it’s slashed its 7 Piece Rattan Garden Furniture Set by a huge 42%.

Ordinarily, the huge set of furniture is priced at £652.99, but now it’s available for £381.99, saving you a massive £271. The set is perfect for creating plenty of space for friends and family to gather during the summer, not to mention giving you the option of sitting or lying in the sun on a quiet afternoon.

The entire 7 Piece Rattan Garden Furniture Set includes two armless chairs, two side chairs, two stools and a matching glass-topped coffee table, allowing you to configure the set however you like to get maximum seating room. You can create one long sofa, turn it into an L-shaped sofa, or set up each chair as an individual place to sit.

It’s also been carefully designed to be practical and functional as well as stylish. Both stools can be tucked underneath the chairs to maximise space, whilst the sofa’s armrests feature two lift-up shelves for snacks and drinks, and the coffee table features a bottom shelf for additional storage.

All of the furniture in the 7 Piece Rattan Garden Furniture Set is built from a powder coated steel frame which keeps it strong and secure, and is wrapped in weather-resistant plastic wicker. The cushions come with removable and washable covers, and the feet are adjustable to counter uneven surfaces.

For a seating area that makes it easier to enjoy an al fresco meal, Wayfair’s Kissner Rattan 7 Person Seating Group is £519.99 down from £549.99, and features a dining table with glass-table top at just the right height for eating. It also has three benches which can be configured into multiple layouts, and two ottomans for additional seating.

However, Debenhams’ discount on the 7 Piece Rattan Garden Furniture Set isn’t one to be missed, with shoppers raving about it. One said: “Just arrived very happy with my purchase, did take some time to build but worth it , looks great on my decking area, absolute bargain price.”

Another agreed: “Absolutely love this garden furniture the cushions are thick definitely worth the money.”
