A DPD delivery driver was caught on camera dropping his trousers and defecating on the pavement outside a customer’s house in Llangennech, Carmarthenshire.
The shocking incident was captured by David (who chose not to disclose his surname), a next-door neighbour who was at work when his son filmed the driver’s actions. David reported the incident to DPD but has yet to receive a response.
The driver left used tissues on the pavement outside David’s home. Speaking to Mirror affiliate WalesOnline, David expressed his disgust: “I was disgusted in all honesty, and left in disbelief. There are so many options, he could have asked to use the toilet after he delivered a parcel to my neighbour.”
David continued: “I have a picture of his face on Ring, but I’ll save that for DPD. He left used tissue paper on the pavement that he used to wipe himself. We have two pubs in Llangennech he could have used the toilet at, Tesco is five minutes away. I phoned DPD as soon as I got home. It took some explaining to the call handler of what exactly I was trying to say…’defecated,’ ‘opened his bowels,’ ‘number two.’
Eventually, David had to be blunt about the situation: “In the end it was: ‘He pulled his trousers down, squatted and sh** on the pavement.’ She was disgusted to be fair, and said it would be escalated to management, but it’s been a week and I haven’t heard anything.” WalesOnline contacted DPD for comment.
It comes after a phantom pooper caused alarm in a seaside village earlier this month. The man was spotted leaving his mark on a village road in Camber, East Sussex and was filmed in the act. Sussex News shared the odd incident on X/Twitter and wrote: “The ‘Phantom Pooper’ strikes again in Camber. This stealthy stinker leaves his mark – and even comes prepared with his own toilet roll.
