People might find parking quite difficult, even if they’re a pro at driving.
Whether the motorist passed their practical test with flying colours, learning to carefully manoeuvre into tiny spaces can be quite a tricky task indeed. Now many motoring experts on social media tend to share their tips on parking and other related driving hacks.
Recently on TikTok, account Rooster Insurance, who boasts 73,800 fans, shared a clip on social media which explained how to bay park in three easy steps. Now you must be thinking parking next to other cars isn’t hard at all, especially with all the tech these days.
But for many drivers, in particular those with no parking sensors, this is still one very big task to accomplish behind the wheel. So how do you park your car in a bay easily? The clip begins with a red car trying to park next to two blue cars.

A voice in the clip can be heard saying: “Drive about one metre from the space, line your mirror up with the edge line. Turn the steering wheel clockwise and drive forward until you can see the edge line from your side of the mirror.
“Then turn the wheel anti-clockwise and reverse into the space. Save this video for when you need it.” While many of the comments suggested they didn’t need this advice thanks to their parking sensors, others appreciated it quite a lot.
So the next time you’re parking your car, follow these three steps. Looking for more motoring tips? Recently, it was revealed drivers must remove items from their car before the end of the day. The advice came after the UK heatwave and your safety while driving.
