Dunelm Santorini garden furniture set that ‘looks expensive’ drops to £60

Dunelm have dropped an outdoor clearance sale and among the hundreds of summer-ready items to shop is a fetching garden furniture set now half price. Aptly named the Santorini Two Seater Bistro Seat, the chairs and table would typically set shoppers back £119 but is currently retailing for £59.50.

Adding a holiday-feel to any garden, the Santorini set conjures images of sparkling turquoise water, sandy beaches and sun-soaked trips – all in the comfort of the home. There are two finishes to choose from, a natural rattan, or shoppers can get the jade mist colourway for £83.30.

Included in the set are two ‘stylish chairs’, as well as a ‘beautiful’ coffee table. Made from weather resistant materials, they should stand the test of time, being durable enough to cope with unpredictable weather and winters.

The Santorini set doesn’t come with cushions, but shoppers still say it ‘looks fab and is really comfy’. It’s also ‘really easy to put together’ with flat-pack instructions. One person said it took them ‘less than 20 minutes’ to assemble.

Those that require cushions to come with the garden furniture might be interested in the Natural Abel Rattan Garden Table and Chairs Set from Next. It’s more expensive at £325, but it is larger than the Santorini set and shoppers say it is ‘elegant, stylish and comfortable’.

Dunelm’s Santorini set is perfect for some consumers as it ‘doesn’t take up much room’. The compact furniture ‘adds a pop of colour to the garden’ and with it being reduced to less than £90 is ‘great value’ and ‘a bargain in the sale’.

Shoppers can also save money on garden furniture at Debenhams. This dark grey and wood two-seater sofa and coffee table is 50% off, now £199.95 down from £402.99. It comes with ‘comfy’ seat and back cushions, but is only available in one colour.

The Santorini set has been rated 4.1 out of a possible five stars by 36 reviewers. One person wrote: “Saw the set in store and tried it, have had it my fave list, saw it had gone into a sale, bought it with no regrets! Can’t wait to use it in my new flat garden, will be running with Santorini inspo!”

However, another customer said it is ‘a little low to the ground’. Nevertheless, they went on to say that it is ‘very comfortable and looks great’.

For once I put them all together, very impressed with the instructions but they were easy after all! They are a lovely colour and wanted this colour as it matches my garden fences!
