Dunelm shoppers have nothing but praise for the £40 electric blanket that is helping them stay warm without spending money on heating bills
Dunelm shoppers can keep wonderfully warm this winter with one investment piece they can use time after time. Electric blankets might seem a little old fashioned but modern options have been designed to look good whilst being a practical way to beat the cold.
This Teddy Electric Throw has been added to Dunelm’s autumn and winter line-up this year for £40. It comes in a range of different colours meaning the cuddly material should suit most personal styles.
“Indulge in luxurious warmth and comfort with this exquisite Heated Throw,” according to the product description. “Boasting adjustable heat settings, this throw lets you tailor your warmth to perfection.”
It’s perfect for any chilly evening with “plush teddy bear texture” for “an irresistibly soft and cosy feel”. Reviewers have been nothing but positive about their purchases so far, as of time of writing.
One said: “It heats up really quickly and I am looking forward to using it when it’s really cold”. Another said it felt “soft and luxurious”.
Someone else added: “Nice and snuggly for those cold winter nights in front of TV. It’s got a safety off switch after an hour too.”
A fourth claimed they “bought this a month ago and have used it every single day at least once”. They added: “It’s perfect as I love to be really warm but my partner hates being hot so it’s a perfect match for us!”
You can also opt for a fleece version for £32 at Dunelm. The growing trend of heating yourself rather than the whole home to save money on energy bills is gaining popularity again as temperatures plunge.
If neither of the Dunelm items are to your liking, there are other alternatives out there such as Argos’ Silentnight Luxury Heated Throw. Being sold for £45, shoppers found it “heats up quickly” and was “cheap to run”, but some thought it “could be a little larger”, whilst others reported their blankets “just stopped working”.
Also, Amazon has plenty of options such as this LIVIVO Electric Heated Throw Blanket for £51.99. Most shoppers had nothing but praise for this item’s “lovely soft material” and quick warming, but some claimed to have problems with the LED display on the controller.
One shopper shared: “Several LED segments don’t work. I’ve had this on 3 of these blankets. Doesn’t affect operation but working out which heat setting can be a bit tricky.”
