Shoppers have been pleased with its simplicity to look after and how ‘classy’ it looks in the bedroom
Dunelm shoppers can ‘effortlessly switch up their style’ with this simple, easy-to-maintain bedding set. The pattern adds a fresh pop of colour to any room, too.
The Catherine Lansfield Cove Stripe Duvet Cover and Pillowcase set starts from £15 for a single set. It can also be bought as a double (£20) or king (£25) set.
The simple striped design appears on both sides of the reversible duvet , with one side having thicker lines and the other much thinner. Dunelm calls it a “contemporary twist on a classic” that aims to let buyers “effortlessly switch up [their] style in seconds.”

It comes in various colours, meaning there should be something to suit most bedrooms. All have white stripes accented by colours like duck egg blue, deeper blue, olive green, neutral beige, and grey.
Plenty of shoppers had good things to say about this set, which has a secure and sleek button fastening system on the duvet cover. One said: “Really great quality bedding that washes well. Good value for money.”
Another added: “Really lovely duvet cover and pillowcases. It was easy to wash and no need to iron. Looks a lot nicer on the bed than the picture shows.” A third wrote: “A great value, good quality set – would recommend. I have ordered a second one as well.”
Someone else posted: “Fresh looking and fresh feeling. It washes really well too.” In their review, a fifth put: “Classy bedding with smart patterns that’s [made from] good quality material.”
But, not every shopper was pleased with their bargain buy. One claimed: “Lovely duvet cover set, but unfortunately it’s not washed well. Been washed twice and already bobbly – very disappointing.”
Another posted: “The style of this is nice but the feeling of it is so scratchy and rough. I washed it before use and will try again with fabric softener to see if it makes a difference. It really doesn’t feel nice to sleep with if you’re used to soft feeling pillows and sheets.”
There are plenty of offers on bedding at the moment elsewhere, too. If you’re looking to spruce up you own bedroom or revamp a guest room in time for Easter visitors, there are dozens of choices.
There’s a very similar-looking set available at Next, starting from £14 for singles and going up to £25 for king-size. The Stripe Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set comes in a few different styles, but theGreen/White Stripeand Pink/White Stripe closely match Dunelm’s offering.
Amazon could also save the day with speedy delivery on this OHS Double Duvet Cover Set. The Stripe Print set looks almost identical to the Dunelm and Next versions but is only available in double and king-size from £14.99.
It stands out as it comes with added frill edges around the pillows and duvet, enhancing the elegance and charm of your bedding set. It’s available in both sage green and lilac options.
